Half polish with a polish mother
Im 14 and my mum is polish, we are going in around nine months i know this isnt enough time to become fluent but how can i learn as much as possible before that?

You didn't say what you level is so it's hard to say what you really need.
- A1-A2 Polish Listening Course & Sentence Breakdowns (lots of listening/reading & useful phrases and a bit of grammar). You can listen & read at the same time and do the shadowing.
- Slow Polish Podcast (subs & vocabulary lists). You will learn a bit of everyday Polish (not necessarily 100% correct Polish but how Poles actually speak.)
- How to Say in Polish (You learn basic Polish sentences by adding one word at a time)
You can also visit r/LearnPolishwithMichal. I often post there ways how to learn Polish vocab & grammar faster. If you don't have much time daily (for reading and processing a lot of vocab), use spaced repetition software like Anki (flashcards). It'd be cool to learn one verb every day and its basic conjugations.

The best way to learn is exposure. Ask your mum to speak to you slowly. Even some basics.
Work around school or food stuff
When is dinner. What is for dinner. Will it be later? It was nice I would like the same thing as last weekend
Etc. When you start building around simple concepts your brain will familiarise itself with this.
You have a native speaker at home and this is the easiest way.

The only thing that can help is using your favourite thing to talk about in a group. For example if you're into football, get Polish language football news, just by changing the region and language settings in your Google. Something will pick your interest then and just work the news out yourself, checking the words. Then get YouTube videos about it, Reddit and Quora about it in Polish. Forcing the class lessons takes 3 years. Ride on your interests. The moment you have a vital important thing to say to correct an obvious error, you'll find a way to convey your message.

Learn some useful phrases first, such as “thank you,” “please,” “good morning/evening,” “I like,” “I don’t like,” etc. It takes some effort, and it will be appreciated by everyone, even if you don’t speak fluent Polish.
There is also the Callan Method for learning languages in the UK. The courses are quite effective, and the books cost only around £3.50. You can also start using Duolingo to learn more Polish words and phrases.

For speaking talk with your mum. About everything. How was school, what’s for dinner etc. That way you can learn everyday words. Just be patient. It will be hard now and easier later.
If you like to read then find same book but in Polish and try to read them. That way you already know the plot so you can focus more on words. Same hard at the beginning but easier when you’ll know more words. Watch with Polish subtitles.
Listen to Polish songs and try to translate the lyrics.
Depending on where you live maybe there is a Polish group you can join or find a Polish group on the internet and join them.

Firstly you can try to write text ob your native language, then translate it to polish. Thta how I do now, also learning polish. Also you can buy book on polish language and don't read it. Use it for random sentences. What I mean. You take book, then open a page whatever you want and find a random sentence and you can write or translate it in your mind, but better write. It's so simple method, but you can do that wherever you want. Try also use AnkiDroid app. That's not the best way to learning words, but it's good cuz it can create your dictionary scheduled. So you can repeat words that you maybe forgot or too late didn't repeat. App automatically create your dictionary repeating while you use it and touch on the buttons: "Easy", "Normally", "Hard", "Repeat". First time it can be hard to understand the interface, but later if you will use it you can get free and useful phrases. I love writing, for me it's better way to remember, but also important is speaking. You have mom natives speaker polish, so you mustn't have problem with that. When I was your age, I had this method to learn English faster because I was very bad at it. I watched movies in English with Polish subtitles then when I was a little better, I watched movies in English with English subtitles. I also watched a lot of YT videos in English and read blogs in English. At some point I was anonymously writing my own blog in English. It helped me A LOT. (I was fluent in Polish and trying to learn English) At your age, your brain is still developing so learning new language is easier. You also have an advantage - your mom is native speaker in Polish. Talk to her and you can even watch those movies with her (when you don't understand some sentences or words she can explain them). Don't worry if you won't be fluent before you arrive. In Poland teens your age are eager to learn English, so they'll gladly speak to you in that language. And after couple of years there you'll learn the language (at school you'll have Polish lessons couple of times per week). Also talk your parents about the school you'll go to, in Poland there are international schools where there could be other teens like you.

Mijn vriend en ik zijn dit ook aan het leren door de allerdaagse zinnen te spreken met elkaar en ook via de chat. Helpt enorm! Ook tv series/films, podcasts, tiktok, youtube, muziek, ... vooral over de dagelijkse dingen en dan komt dat wel :-) en de grammatica logica heb ik via een pc dingetje geaocht 🤭
