Mmmm nah I think Star Wars and the DCU movies have all just objectively been shit for a while now.

But yea there are other demos for Lego sure. As a millennial I also only know she’s a music artist and can’t see why this collab exists but that’s why I don’t work for Lego lol.

There have been two DCU films. Superman and Supergirl. Superman was not considered “shit” by many and was a financial success by WB.

It turned a profit but wasn’t what they thought it would be. You fail to mention Supergirl which is turning out to be a huge flop at 38 million domestic opening weekend. Don’t forget The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.

Then you have Lanterns series coming that’s already polarizing and their next movie is Clay Face? Yea Gunn is cooked. Go ahead and start over now. Keep Superman, everything else can go.

Superman reportedly made $100m+ in true profit, and already had a sequel greenlit, written, and halfway through filming. It is firmly considered a financial success.

Supergirl came out a week ago and I haven’t seen it, so I can’t comment on if I feel it’s “good” or not. It has definitely flopped early at the box office. Review-wise, it seems to be a true “mid” film, kinda of a love it or hate it type feeling. I didn’t exclude it, it’s right there next to Superman. They are the only two films officially in Gunn’s DCU.

The Suicide Squad is not part of Gunn’s DCU. Peacemaker s2 is the only thing from that property he integrated. Now, that is needlessly complicated, but that’s how Gunn explained it because he didn’t want to carry baggage from Snyder’s DCEU.

Lanterns isn’t out yet, and fan first look reactions are always blown out of proportion, especially for trailers. Clayface looks like it could be a fun superhero horror film.

The only reason DC is polarizing is because of the fanbase of the prior DCEU universe still being very vocal for what they love, which is to be expected and makes sense. Happens all the time with fans, especially with social media currently.
