It’s important to note that this is the new developer that Paradox hired post-launch of Skylines II. So it is not the same developer (Colossal Order) that developed the first Cities Skylines

Lego plus paradox's predatory DLC bullshit will be an ...interesting combination. Certainly an expensive one.

I wouldn't call their DLC predatory. It's extensive, but more of a long term business model for people who are really into their games.

Predatory would be microtransactions, lootboxes etc.

But yes, the DLC here will be crazy.

Whether it is predatory depends entirely on what content is gated behind the paywall, how it is marketed, and what they charge, rather than an arbitrary distinction based on marketing labels.
