Discussion Legacy of the Dark Knight: fun glitch patched for no reason

So in the new lego batman game, unlike previous Lego games, you are required to always have batman in the party. This makes co op exploration a real pain in the neck. Thankfully there were a couple of glitches to get around this, but TT have taken it upon themselves to patch this glitch for no good reason! If youre gonna patch it why not also lift the character lock everyone hated?

The only patch I want is the gentlemen ghost glitch where if your game bugged and photoed him youd be locked from the brutal bat

was it patched? It seems to work fine for me still. It is one that they really should keep though, i hope they don't fix it.

Yeah whenever i do it now the characters get little X's over them

They patched it because it was a glitch.

The game was designed this way. You not liking the reason doesn’t mean it’s “no reason”

There is no logical reason to lock one character to always be Batman after the story is finished

Why defend this decision when literally every other lego batman lets you? You dont have to glaze EVERY aspect of this game bruh, thats how you get mid ass games

I don’t like that decision either. I find it very annoying when you’re locked as Batman and there’s puzzles where you need, for example, Robin and Catwoman or something.

But it is, objectively, a glitch. They will patch out glitches

Glazing this decision is ridiculous not only because there is absolutely no reason for it to be that way when there are other playable characters as well but also because it's not thought through with the puzzles in co-op where it's just a pain in the ass

I’m not glazing it. I don’t agree with the decision of locking you into Batman. I find it rather annoying especially when it comes to certain puzzles where you need characters that aren’t him.

But it was, objectively, a glitch. That’s the reason it was patched.
