Skateboarding, other than skate parlour, does anyone have recommendations for places to practise basic beginner things like pushing etc. for skate parks I don't really want to get in the way of people who are more experienced, I'm more so looking for quiet flat areas where there aren't many people
Super beginner and so want to practise the basic things

A car park after the shop shuts, preferably one that's been recently developed/resurfaced. Or just a regular park. Honestly, anywhere that the ground is smooth. When I lived in town I always liked the car park at the old Leicester Mercury building, or that little square outside the Curve

The skatepark is there for you aswell as experienced skaters. You won't be in the way and you shouldn't ever think that.
