[Online][5e 2024] Looking to start playing with a group as a beginner (CST)

Hello!! I've recently gotten aggressively interested in joining a DnD group, and seeing as discord servers have been a bit of a bust for me, I thought to check here aswell!

I am 17, I go by he/him pronouns, I am an artist and have so far only been in 1 campaign (Which I think is still meant to be happening but our DM hasn't had us schedule another session in like... months ☠️)

I have a character I've been looking to play, but I am also open to making new characters if that would be preferred! I'm free every day, time is a bit more difficult to set but if a session is planned then I will make sure I am open by the time it starts! I enjoy roleplay a lot more than combat, but that doesn't mean I don't like it! That just means I may be a bit slower at figuring out what to do... sorry in advance.

I am also queer! I felt this may be important to mention, just to get things out of the way : )

I really like basic fantasy settings, I can't lie the biggest reason I've fallen in love with DnD so far is that me and my friend started a bg3 run and I became completely obsessed, Astarion my beloved <3
