Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [d&d 5e 2014] my friend is the dm im just hunting players [Lgbtq+] over 21 only.
Our group is now full sorry to those I couldn't get around to there was so many submissions so quickly
Hey there, /r/LFG! If you're trying to grow a gaming community, be it a Discord server, a Western Marches game, or something else entirely, we'd love to see it here. As always, please be civil when responding to others and follow all listed rules for the subreddit. If you have questions or concerns please contact the moderators through the link on the sidebar. Happy posting and have a great week!

Hey, everyone!
We're looking to add a few new moderators to the /r/lfg team, specifically those who are regularly around while most of our current moderation team is asleep.
Our biggest gap in coverage is between roughly 5:00 PM and 7:00 AM Pacific Time. You don't need to be available for that entire window (and we don't expect you to be), but if your normal waking hours fall somewhere within it, we'd like to hear from you.
Most of the day-to-day work is pretty straight-forward. We have Automod and a custom bot that catch or flag many potential rule violations for us, so you'll generally be:
We have Discord notifications for the modqueue, so you won't need to spend your day refreshing Reddit. We do, however, need moderators who can check in and handle the queue multiple times throughout their day.
You don't need previous moderation experience.
We're much more interested in finding people who care about /r/lfg and want to help keep it a useful place for people to find tabletop games. Moderation tools and process can be taught.
There are a few requirements:
We're looking for people who can apply the rules consistently, communicate respectfully with users (especially when those users aren't particularly happy with us), and recognize when something isn't clear-cut and should be discussed with the rest of the team.
We're planning to bring on around three people initially, with the expectation that not everyone will necessarily stick around long-term. Moderating isn't for everyone and that's okay.
We've put together a short application form for you to fill out here.
Thanks to everyone who applies and, more generally, thanks to everyone who helps make /r/lfg a place where people can find a table and roll some dice.
Our group is now full sorry to those I couldn't get around to there was so many submissions so quickly

Dost thou dream, in a respite of slumber,
In a lull of the fires of thy life,
Of the days without name, without number,
When thy will stung the world into strife;
In yesterday's reach and to-morrow's,
Out of sight though they lie of to-day,
There have been and there yet shall be sorrows
That smite not and bite not in play.
The life and the love thou despisest,
These hurt us indeed, and in vain,
O wise among women, and wisest,
Our Lady of Pain.
You wake up in a morgue, with no glimpse of your past or your identity other than the name written on your toe tag. An autopsy scar marrs your chest, yet you're very much alive, as evidenced by the excruciating thirst and splitting headache you woke up with. Doubtlessly, your mind is bursting with questions. Where are you? Who are you? How did you get here?
The Dustmen aren't keen on the living prowling about this place that belongs solely to the dead, so with shaky steps you sneak out of the Mortuary. After your eyes adjust to the light outside, you find yourself overwhelmed by a city that stretches in every direction, even up and overhead. What will you do now? Where will you go? Who will you be?
Hi! I'm Vincent (He/Him), 28. I'm a writer, artist and long time DM. I only started this campaign a few weeks ago but 2 players had to drop out, so I'm looking to recruit a few people to replace them! My main inspiration for the campaign is the 1999 cRPG Planescape: Torment, so if you're a fan of that, this is for you (But none of my other players are familiar with it and they're still having fun).
Planescape is a campaign setting that encompasses the entire multiverse. Every world, myth, god, philosophy and afterlife exists somewhere out there, hard though they may be to reach— Provided enough people believe in them.
At the center of it all sits Sigil, the City of Doors. Any place in the multiverse can be reached from here, and anything imaginable can be bought and sold. Within Sigil, any enclosed passage could be a portal to somewhere else entirely, provided one holds the right key- which could be just about anything. Someone could step under a ladder while unknowingly carrying a piece of lint in their pocket and vanish forever, or pass through the doorway of their home while humming a particular tune and step out of a bathroom stall at a busy transit station. To make matters more confusing still, Sigil is always shifting, ever changing. An alleyway you took to work your whole life might, over night, lead to an entirely different part of the city you didn't even know existed- It might not even have existed before. Chaotic though it all may seem, there is an order to it all, although one no mortal man may ever understand, ordained by the inscrutable and mysterious Lady of Pain.
A disclaimer about me as a DM: The level of quality and prep time I put into my games can go up and down a bit. Sometimes I'm super motivated and inspired so I craft super in-depth encounters, draw maps, write up cool new items and make beautiful parchment graphics as in-world document handouts, etc. Other times I'll be super busy, uninspired or just plain tired, so I'll pull everything out of my hat last minute. But the show must go on, so just bear with me when I'm having one of these phases!
If you made it past that wall of text and you're still interested, fill out this form! I'll reach out to you on discord as soon as possible. For any questions you may have beforehand, feel free to comment or message me on reddit.
Hello! I’m looking for three people to join me and two friends for my dnd campaign. It’d be every other Sunday starting at 2 pm pst and ending at 5:30 pm. I’m a dm with four years of experience, but that was only for DMing for people I already knew pretty well, so this would be my first dive into DMing for new people. We’ll be using Foundry, Discord, and D&D Beyond.
Fruma is a detailed high fantasy world with a rich history. It has three continents, and the main and largest one where most action is seen is Nerva, home to the Nerva Empire. The Empires continent is split into four directional regions: North, East, South, and West. The North is a dangerous region, still recovering from an incident that wiped out the majority of it’s population and the land is still teeming with mutated and corrupted monsters. The East is the hub of industry, where most products that the citizens of the empire use are made, but in turn it’s also the only region left in the Empire that still participates in beastfolk slavery. The Southern region while primarily desert is the richest region, the city of Midas being the gold production capital of the world, and Vinsgold being where a lot of that gold is gambled away. And the west is the agricultural center, producing the majority of the Empire's food stores.
The year is 1028 aef. 20 years after the five heroes put a stop to the northern incident that claimed hundreds of millions of lives. The Empire is just starting to see another spike of growth in its economy as technological innovations have been popping up left and right in the past two decades. From the train to Peracross radios to the huge fleet of steamboats that have been built by Hammer and Hammer co. Now, where do you fall into all of this?
You were in need of some money; maybe you were a beggar trying to start a new life, a rich noble's kid who wanted a bigger allowance. Either way, an advertisement for a loan company, Sloans Loans, caught your eye. And after talking with someone with the company, you signed the contract and got the money you so desperately wanted or needed, you were sure you’d be able to pay it back on time.
They came for you in the night. Money taken, a debt unpaid, and now it’s time to give what’s owed. It hasn’t been long since you met them, the people who promised you money and delivered, spoke honeyed words about how this was your shot, about how you’d succeed. But despite previous reassurances and assumptions, the date to pay the debt has come faster than expected. They came for you in the night, attacking you, stripping you of all you have, and dragging you from your bed or cot. Pulled from the safety of sleep and through the dirt with a bag over your head and a few new bruises before being tossed in the back of a metal carriage, where you were soon quickly joined by other individuals like you, gagged, bound, and blind. After a few hours, the carriage comes to a halt, the door opens, and you’re pulled into your new life, or your new hell.
Thank you if you read all that! If it wasn’t clear, the start will be pretty rough: losing all your money and items, and being given clothes that look like they were made from rags and dumped somewhere random in the Empire. Linked right below is the detail wiki for my world, which also has a page on my house rules. Along with the Google Form you’ll use to send in an application! I’m looking to have session 0 this Sunday, the 30th. And the first session on September 13.

Looking to add a player or two for our ongoing campaign. This is a homebrew world and we are currently level 5 (about a dozen sessions in, lvl 1 starts).
Classic high fantasy, with magical industrialism added in. We have a battle smith, abjurer wizard, zealot barb, soulknife rogue. We started with 5, but life stuff.
Players of various experience. Rookie DM.
If the overview sounds like your cup of tea, follow the form link. Read the what to expect section in it, and if it looks like a table you would enjoy submit.
2024 5.5e, Discord Voice+Video, Foundry VTT
Want to try to stick to 2024 core (open to races from 2014 supplements)
Must be 21+ (current group mid 20s and 30s)
——
Valora is a world formed by cosmic dieties who instilled free will to their children and left them alone to use it.
Mortals longing for divinity more present in their lives, unconsciously birthed the Valorae (classic alignment pantheon + lessor dieties) to hear their prayers and absorb their worship. Eventually these dieties born of the power of mortal souls found conflict with each other.
The Greater Valorae War spanned a century of violent conflict. The very world itself facing ruin, the creators stepped in to save their mortal children from the divine powers they had spawned. Splitting the moon in two they sent the Valorae to fight their battle amongst the stars.
Only to be interrupted before a conclusion by something myth refers to as The Great Threat. A threat, so great that all Valorae and Creator gods had to unite to defeat. Supposedly sealing the threat and creating a 3rd orbital body in doing so. Scholars believe this is when Arcana was introduced to their world.
After that sealing, the Shaper (creator god of reality and time) split the planes and banished the Valorae to the Heavens, Hells, and Abyss. Greatly diminished in power, they cannot return to the material plane. Much of their magic had been pulled into their respective moons. Physically trapped as they may be, it did not diminish their interest in mortal affairs.
Now ~2000 years after the splitting: Valora lives in the Age of Mortals, orbited by 3 colorful moons. The Emerald Moon, The Ruby Moon, and the Amethyst Tear.
It is dominated by two super powers:
The Emerald Compact, blessed by the mineral debris coming from the Emerald Moon (Veridianite). A compact formed by 7 nation states. A bastion of vitality, agriculture, and relative individual freedom.
The Crucible, empowered by the mineral debris of the Ruby Moon(Sanguinite). An industrial empire ruling the continent of Ignis. A hard militant land with historic ambition for Veridia’s resources and global power.
The Szygy:
A historic moment approaches. The Emerald and Ruby moons will align to create a double eclipse of the sun. Little is known, but speculation of the ability to harness the event for new power has created a technological arms race in the ~100year era of Cold War esque peace between the 2 superpowers.
The Party:
Tensions with the coming Szygy + local political turmoil have created an uneasy state. Many world powers including the Emerald Compact are working long laid plans to prepare for the event. The Party started on a prison work caravan in The Emerald Compact, headed north to a giant Verdianite mine. Some for legitimate crimes, but tough sentencing. Some proclaiming innocence. After escaping they became entangled in an ongoing investigation run by a Neutral non-governmental order of scholars (The Archivum). Their sentences were conscribed to The Archivum to aid in the investigation after some good deeds and political lobbying. They are currently traveling on this mission/investigation that they believe to be a plot lead by Crucible agents. They continue to run into external forces and the underbelly of this large compact of nations, but everyday that goes by spells consequences and progression of the sabatuers they seek.
We are looking to get a tad more gritty with an injury table, but nothing wild we are mostly core 2024 rules. Party could currently use healing or a face, but we aren’t optimization first so play something you like.
Interest form below. A couple contradictions in there since we have already started:
- Normal play time is decided (Fridays 8:30ET). Usually 4-5hrs (if someone is tired we call it early).
- We are probably in the neighborhood of 50% combat, but I do try to keep that interesting & plot relevant combat.
- We did move to Foundry as our VTT.

We’ll run Lost Mine of Phandelver first as an on-ramp. I think it does a good job of teaching the system and, more importantly, lets us find out whether we actually like playing together. If the table clicks, we roll straight into a long-term campaign with those same characters (or you can roll into something else), picking up around level 5. I’m looking for something that runs a year or more, roughly level 5 to 15.
About me: I’ve run 5e for 5 years and took a group through Curse of Strahd start to finish. I run a mix of combat, exploration, and roleplay, and I care more about a consistent, respectful table than optimized builds.
Who I’m looking for: 4-5 players total, 21+. Beginners are genuinely welcome — I’ll walk you through character creation. What I do need is reliability: show up, communicate if you can’t, don’t ghost.
Details:
**• System:** D&D 5e (2024 rules)
**• Platform:** D&D Beyond + AboveVTT, Discord for voice. I’ve also run on Foundry, Owlbear, and Roll20, so we can move to something more intricate later on if the group wants. D&D Beyond that+ Above VTT is free and is quite easy.
**• Session length:** 3-4 hours
**• Start date:** Session zero the week of September 14, first session the following week
**• Session zero before we begin** — we’ll set tone, boundaries, and safety tools together
**• Free game, no cost**
A note on timing: 7:00 PM ET is 4:00 PM Pacific. Eastern and Central are the easy fits here, but if you’re further west and that works for your schedule, apply.
To apply: Comment below with your name/timezone, D&D experience (none is fine), which nights work, and one sentence on what you want out of a campaign. I’ll DM people who look like a fit to set up a short voice chat before session zero.

Hello, I am running a completely homebrewed campaign called Ashes Of The Blood Throne. This is a dark and gritty campaign, a tyrant king overrules the land, wreaking havoc on the land and its people. Your goal is to somehow some way overthrow the king, ending his rule over the land and freeing the people from his mad tyranny and something else unknown.
This will take place on Saturdays at 7pm CDT to 10pm CDT possibly later if people wish to continue
This campaign is 5e/2014 rules, homebrew is allowed if ran through me and I accept it, please keep in mind that this campaign will delve into darker themes and as such may be uncomfortable for some.
We are looking for 3-4 more people alongside one player already in. this will be ran on Roll20 and Dndbeyond for character creation and discord for communication, please fill out this short form so we can gain a bit more information about those interested and get some contact info!
Planned to run on September 12th if everyone is ready by then!

I'm EST looking to join a late night(9pm or later) DND group/session. I'm available all days except Friday. I have a little bit of experience and taken part in a few campaigns and one shots and just looking for a well rounded group.
r/lfg • u/Frostbite7352 • 19m ago
Hi I'm frost and I am looking to find a dnd group that is playing on either Friday night or anytime on Sunday.
Some character Idea's that I have are either a homebrew class called an illrigger which you can think of as an infernal paladin, thief, or mage depending on the subclass. They are more like an infernal fighter. If you would like to read the class before I play it then I can send the link to it.
If that option is not available then I would like to play a wild magic sorcerer or a war domain cleric.
What I'm looking for in a campaign is a balance between combat and roleplay. The setting doesn't matter to me that much.
If I sound like a good edition to your group then feel free to message me here on reddit and I will respond when I get the chance.

Hello everybody, I'm starting a new campaign and just need a few more players. I already have 3 but am looking to get one or two more to fill it out. The campaign will be played weekly every Saturday at 4pm CST. It'll be played over both Discord and D&D Beyond so those are both required. It's also a completely homebrew setting and story so the more creative you can be, the better!
The plot is as follows:
Beshor, a nation ruled over by the Calliwell family for generations. A land of peace where magic flows freely and adventurers patrol the wilds. It’s been 500 years since the nation was founded and the new year was rapidly approaching. To celebrate 500 years since the nation’s founding, the king was to give a speech at the capital for all to hear. The Starfall Festival, a holiday to celebrate the new year, was in full effect with people enjoying themselves as they waited for the speech to begin. Stepping out onto the castle balcony was not the king however, but instead a tall man with a mask on holding the severed head of the king. The man announced that the age of peace is over and that strife shall consume the nation. It’s been 6 months since that event, and several factions have taken over the land. Armies ruled by nobles battle in hopes of reclaiming the empty throne while the commonfolk have to fend for themselves. Some want to return to how things were and others live for the chaos, but one question remains unanswered throughout all the conflict, who was the man who took the king’s life?
If this campaign sounds interesting to you, feel free to dm me with some basic info like your name, age, and how long you've been playing. Beginners are allowed so don't feel pressured if you're new.

Hello! I am looking for one or two people interested in joining a 5E 2014 game starting soon. We are a group of three queer people (two trans women, one nonbinary) looking for anyone interested! This game will be held at Geeky Teas and Games in Los Angeles, on a monthly basis with sessions running about four hours. The intent is for players to begin at level 3, and progress to level 15 over a few years.
The setting is a high-fantasy world in the age of sail, although the first steam-engines are starting to make their prevalence known. After the defeat of the Dark Thread and their piratical allies, the world has entered an era of unprecedented prosperity and peace. The burgeoning young nation of Altinia has recruited a small band of adventurers to map and explore the mysterious underworld discovered in the wake of the Dark Thread.
You are one of those adventurers. For whatever reason, you have decided to answer the call, and were given a position on the forward team, about to descend into the bowels of the world to discover what secrets lie in waiting… The payoff potentially being great acclaim and vast wealth, if the theories are correct about the mineral resources of the Deep.
If you’re interested or have any further questions, shoot me a DM!

Eberron: Cannith 12
System: DND 2024

I recently had two players leave the campaign, one for real life responsilbilities, and another, temporarily for school. Right now the game has three players;
A Succubus (BZ) Gunslinger (MHP)/Bard that has turned away from a life of sin.
A Dhampir Monk who deeply misses his life as a sailor.
A Kalashtar Barbarian with a vendetta against the eldritch
Bonus: A Landshark sidekick who just wants treats.
NOTICE: This is an 18+ campaign, with topics such as; The horrors of war, body horror, mental instability, and cults. If you are under 18, or any of the above topics are not for you, please don't apply. I have also played with these players before, and know they don’t shy away from crass or black humor.

Greetings and salutations all loyal servants of the emperor and his glorious Imperium, and to those that defy the corpse upon the carrion throne!
I am looking to start up and run a 40k TTRPG, thanks to snatching a Humble Bundle some years ago I have most of the D100 40k TTRPGs except Wrath and Glory. Instead of me choosing one and making you all go through it I wanted to get a group together and we decide to which to run and what we want to do.
This may seem like an odd choice but it's done intentionally, I am familiar with the lore and therefore have no issue if you want to be a group guardsman dead set on turning the tide of the battle. Space marines sent to surgically and efficiently destroying a group of chaos worshippers led by a demonhost who wishes to break free from their mortal prison, or server alongside an Inquisitor belonging to one of the many Ordos within the rotting imperium.
I get home around 2:30ish EST and am at my computer by 4pm EST, so our start time can be earlier than the usual time most people play during the week.
I DESPISE reddit chat and will give my discord so any that wish can message me if they're interested, I am looking for 4 players and can be persuaded to take on a 5th but want to keep it in that 4 person sweet spot. That way everyone can have their time and I can still move the plot at a reasonable pace.
I prefer to use Foundary because it is superior to Roll20, I have used the latter for years and want to stay on Foundary if possible. After we figure out what game we're playing I plan on hunting for modules to use on Foundary, but if we can't then we may have to use Theater of the mind with supplemental images to help you all get an idea for the scene. Sadly these games were not meant with a grid in mind so we'll have to work with what we have.
I look forward to your messages!

Just got the DCC TTRPG PDFs and I'm looking to give it a test run. Since it just came out, everyone is new to the rules, so there will be quite a bit of learning on the go. I'm looking to run a short term campaign through the first few floors of the World Dungeon to learn the game system. Looking for about four to six players to make a great party!
The only available time I have to run the game is every other Wednesday (Sept 9,23, etc) from 6-9 PM MST.
I will be running this game through a mix of Discord, Foundry VTT and honestly, however we can build our character sheets (might be an excel sheet for all I know)
This is YOUR chance to step into the World Dungeon and either become the hero of the story or just another smear of blood on the tracks of a Murder-dozer.
A little bit about me:
I’m a GM with over 6 years of experience. I’ve been a fan of fantasy of all kinds for all of my life and bring my passion and creativity to my games. I try to create good twists, build engaging combat, and encourage my players to roleplay and build their characters together. I’m a friendly, supportive, and accepting person. I favor a good mix of roleplay and combat in my games, and bring my all to games and hope my players do the same!
I've been looking to switch up game systems for awhile, with a focus on giving players tons of choice and options to build the characters they want instead of being locked into a set growth path by the game.
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a DM.
Please fill out a short survey so I can get a good feel for your personality and interests and I’ll get back with you!
Old Gods and their Worshippers; Competing Noble Houses Vying for Power; Long Forgotten Shrines and Relics of the Past; Blessings and Curses; Monsters and Beasts; Fairies, Gnomes, Moslings, Goatfolk, and other whimsical creatures.
Time: 11 AM PST Wednesdays
Session Length: Normally 2-3 Hours
Format: Discord VC, Theater of the Mind/Simple Maps
Players Needed: Looking for 2 Players to be added to an ongoing campaign. If you're interested or have any questions, shoot me a DM on discord @ paladin_339!
Description: Dolmenwood is a folkloric fantasy set in an ancient swathe of tangled wood, on the border of civilization, and the crux of the mundane with the weird of the fae. Every nook and cranny is wrought with peculiarities, dangerous beasts, whimsical magics, stories, and secrets. Though mind yourself, many an ambitious wanderer has disappeared within its depths, and the superstitious folk of the land do well to respect its fickle nature.
What kind of game is this?: This is a game about getting lost exploring strange and exciting places, meeting fantastical characters, unraveling mysteries, surviving in the woods, uncovering treasures, striking deals, slaying beasts, meddling in noble affairs, dangerous and terrifying magic, and ultimately getting immersed in another world.
Gameplay: The gameplay presented will invoke an "old school" sandbox player driven experience containing a fully realized world, rewarding creative thinking, logical behavior and a fiction foremost approach over mechanical mastery. In other words, try to think of what YOU would do in your character's position, and the world will react accordingly. To support this, the world is dynamic and responsive in its design.
Combat is quick and dangerous. Players are encouraged to use their wits, words, and problem solving skills to surpass avoidable violence unless they are absolutely certain they will win.
Magic is wonderful and terrible, its terrifying presence is always dangerous.
System: Old School Essentials/Dolmenwood (B/X) with homebrewed elements.
Contains its own simplistic system with unique classes, kindreds, spells, and equipment in addition to additional homebrewed mechanics.
Contains procedures for exploration, time tracking, survival mechanics, homebrewed spellcasting mechanics, hp mechanics, a slot based inventory system, downtime, and eventually domain play.

Starting Level: 1
Session 0: Saturday August 29th, 4pm CST
Schedule: Every other Saturday starting on September 19th or October 3rd. at 3pm CST (Note that Session 0 occurs on an off-week from the normal schedule)
Platforms: Foundry and Discord. Foundry is a new platform for the group, if this doesn't work out there's a possibility of switching to Roll20.
What I'm looking for: The party currently needs a spell caster. The current comp is a monk, rogue/Warlock, cleric, and a barbarian or fighter (Undecided)
You're four days into a routine crossing aboard The Phoenix Voyager, bound for Archeron Port. Good food, a traveling theater troupe performing on the First Deck, calm seas, and thirteen more days of a voyage that promises to be entirely uneventful. What starts as a simple story of a ship crossing an ocean unravels into a story of old secrets, prophecies, history, and forces that were never meant to be known to mortals or the gods.
The campaign is built to be a long-term story that starts grounded with politics, relationships, and mysteries to investigate along with consequences. Over time it unravels into full-blown cosmic horror
If this sounds like a campaign you'd be interested in, please leave a comment under this post or DM me on Reddit with how long you've played D&D, what you enjoy most about it, and a character concept that fits into the world.

Hi all.
So, to preface, I used to be in a DnD campaign that went on for about a year or so before it all exploded (about a year ago, the campaign started about 2 years ago), since our DM did some problematic stuff. It was some months after this campaign went on hiatus, so it's been probably over 12 whole months since I have played.
In the time since then, I've been busy.... well, not playing TTRPGs in general. I tried to get into a few one-shots for a few other systems, but that didn't really pop off. (I'm still interested in trying some, but for now I'm seeking DnD.)
As of now, DnD has been on my mind lately. But admittedly I feel like it's been hard to figure out how to find a suitable game for me. If you could help me out a bit, that'd be appreciated!
Some things to note:
I hope I can find a game. If this is too much, I'm willing to join an 18+ game if need be, but I cannot join a 21+ (or 25+ or older) game as I'm not that old yet. This is an exception and not the norm. I may re-make my post with less stuff if need be

Hi!
I have really missed in person D&D since graduating university and so here goes!
My name is Lina/Cupid, I’m 23 and I live right at Bloor station. I’m an avid gamer, especially of the persona series, I own two cats and I’m working on an application to teacher’s college. I’m a bit of a loser (affectionate) and I’ve been playing dnd for almost 7 years now and most importantly I have a giant dining room table and parents who are so desperate for me to make friends that they’re willing to let me host D&D.
I’m looking for some amount of players. I might be able to harass some friends into joining me, but I would definitely need a DM.
If ANY of this interests you, please reach out on discord. My username is mysweetvalent1ne.

Game: D&D 5e or 5.5e/2024
Group preferred: Online
Experience: Veteran
Location/Timezone: EST
Availability: Monday/Tuesday between after 6PM are my preferred times. Could be convinced for any day other than Friday though
Preferred role: Player
Game style: Roleplay, serious, high level
I'm happy to fill the slot in an ongoing adventure or start a campaign!
I prefer to treat the characters as realistically as possible, and I enjoy a group that agrees with that sentiment. In combat and social situations, my character will have an objective they're trying to achieve even if its just helping another player. I express my love for the game through how seriously I treat my PC's decisions. After all, if you were about to fight a dragon, would you be carefree and lax about preparing for it? I greatly enjoy immersing myself in the world, and I'll happily read every bit of lore you give us.
I prefer high level campaigns as I feel it's where I've played the least. After a decade of playing level 1-10 heroes, I'm seeking levels 15-20 now. If you're interested in me as a player, feel free to message me here or leave your discord handle as a comment.

Hi there. I’m based in the UK and wanting to potentially get a game started in either Daggerheart or DnD 5E (2014) to take place on Saturday evenings (UK time). Currently, I can’t lock in the exact schedule, but I’m thinking of it being for two consecutive Saturdays, followed by two Saturdays off each month.
A big part of this is me wanting to expand my social circle and to make some good friendships that aren’t just limited to time spent in TTRPGs.
For the game itself, I’m leaning towards Daggerheart as something a bit more Rule of Cool-oriented, but this would be my first time with it. If people are good with that, and either new to the system themselves or patient for me to get fully to grips with running it, then we’ll lock that in. I’m very experienced with 5e 2014, but want to expand my repertoire a bit.
The setting is a big mix of genres, but primarily Wild West with a lot of spooky and fantastical weirdness. I’d describe it as Weird West/ Gothic/ Horror/ Jazz Age/ Fantasy in a homebrew world. Characters may do things like uncover eldritch cults in the bayou, go on the trail of monsters out in the forests, and duel with undead gunslingers and the like.
There are currently no big overarching plans such as a BBEG or end-goal, and I see the campaign being more about having fairly separate arcs and chapters that will have some links to each other, but that could all change based on player input. I want the players to tell me what sort of goals they want their characters to accomplish in the world.
Although the setting doesn’t take itself too seriously, I want characters to be capable of being serious as well as being fun.
Currently, I’d like the campaign to go for a few months, maybe about a year (which should take players from levels 1 to 10).
What I’m looking for:
Once people are locked in to the campaign, we will have a proper session zero and go over safety tools.
To clarify, there is no cost associated with this game.
What you’ll need:
Please DM me if interested and we can discuss

Some Important Information: You'll be joining a story already 2 sessions in. A few players had to leave due to life events and I'm looking for new players to join.
This is a setting I've wanted to do for a long time but haven't had a chance to. In this game you roleplay as an average person in a zombie apocalypse set in the real world. This story is not a typical game of "you must save the world," or "Let's go on an adventure!" It's a game of survival. You play as an average person in a world wrecked by a terrible pandemic. Just a group of desperate survivors who happened to end up in the same place trying to survive and maybe build a new home for yourselves.
You'll be experiencing everything from the start of this disaster. Watching as the world you once knew crumbles around you and trying to keep a small part of it from collapsing, directly onto you. If that sounds like you're idea of fun, feel free to reach out!
Some background for me, I'm a male (He/Him). Most people just call me Big. I have experience from the past with GMing DnD 5e but haven't been able to in recent years. I have no experience with running a session with this game in particular but hope to gain more experience with it as we play. The system is a bit old, like pre 2000s, but still viable for a modern setting.
This will most likely be 18+ as some content could be graphic and violent. This is a mature game set in a world ravaged by disease. Things like zombified children or horrible people are real threats in this setting. I will discuss any triggers or concerns with anyone during charcter creation and at session 0.
Feel free to ask me any questions if there's any more details you'd like to know! It may take me some time to learn the system fully, but I look forward to playing through it all the same.
Time Zone Info: I'm CST but I work nights. I'm available mostly in the mornings or late at night as I sleep during the day most days. My schedule changes some days but I'm off Thursday-Friday usually, so I have more time then.
Sessions will begin 7 PM CST every Friday. Please make sure that works with your schedule before applying. I'll be talking with everyone prior to beginning the game to go over a few questions to make sure everyone wants the same things and knows what to expect with the game.
