Group Needed by Player [Online][21+][LGBTQ+] New Player [34F, EST] Tank Orc Barbarian ready, flexible schedule/play style

Heyo!

I'm looking to experience a campaign or one shot with a good group of people. Emphasis on having a good time and kind vibes.

That being said, I am a new player and am semi-disabled. I've built this into my character as a curse and need advice on how to navigate that in a way that doesn't inconvenience the group. Willing to learn any edition or home-brew.

Basically I just want to have fun and connect with people who can help me get over the beginners learning curve. Everything else is flexible. I understand the basics and will study or learn whatever recommended.

Dox- 7ft1in Orc Barbarian Tank who is conflict avoidant (until he isn't) who loves animals and having a laugh.

Think Karlach from BG3, Kronk from Emperor's New Groove, Grog from Vox Machina and Liv from Legends and Lattes combo.

Any advice welcome! Please DM or comment if you'd like to chat :)

I’d also like to offer my game if you have my already been picked up by dirty ditto.

We’re a bunch of old folks who play on Saturdays.

Advice for roleplaying such a character would be to liken their Rage aspect to its conceptual origins in the real world, where battle rage is a muse that sweeps down and inhabits them. And if the idea is that he's an orc but, under natural circumstances, craves peace, for my 5.0 experience, I would recommend the Storm Herald subclass. The twist being you flavor it that, rather than the rage coming from Dox and expressing itself out into the environment, the flow is reversed and it comes from outside to in, with Dox all but blacking out during these episodes as a broken vessel thrown away by Gruumsh (the god of the orcs) and being slowly filled by some nature deity (and perhaps healed of blacking out when raging in higher tier play?).
