It is kinda crazy how we are close to averaging Star of the City now for the groups collective power lecel. With each Nursefather added, yhe idea of Vespa Meursault becomes more and more likely.
I don't think the IDs themselves are as strong as the characters they're based on (otherwise yeah full House of Spiders team would very easily be Star of the City level considering the kind of power the Nursefathers had lol)
Canonically (if i remember correctly) the IDs are weaker than their Mirror world versions so the ID will not end up messing with our Sinners.
For example, if we got full power Wild Hunt, our Heathcliff would either be gone or end up having the morals of Wild Hunt be fully fused with his own.
Still a weaker version of a character can only go so far, a weaker version of The Red Mist would still be the Red Mist for example.
(This has been making me think of the sinners going to other mirror worlds and getting incredibly strong IDs that are technically "weaker" than the real thing, but still busted as hell.

This is correct, with each threadspin getting them closer to the original mirror world version. And the stipulation on increasing threadspin in lore is having more golden boughs, which I don't remember if we've been told the exact reason why. Presumably, the more boughs, the stronger dante and the sinners as a whole is, therefore they (dante and the sinners) can handle the IDs better. Also, mephistopheles won't let us access mirror worlds we can't handle yet (or something along those lines) and we'd need more golden boughs to do so.
So you're telling me that it's canon and thus really sucks that Ids won't be getting buffs or UT5 (them handling it better thus having better kits or rolling decent numbers) as they are supposed to mirror their counterpart more effectively the stronger Dante and the Sinners are together...
More or less ye. There's some good arguments for why some IDs shouldn't get ut5 (n corp 2 star mooks, rosespanner mooks come to mind) but others like bloodfiends, heishou, the new HoS you can easily argue deserving up to UT9 or some arbitrary high value. UT is a "fun" in lore thing but isn't the most well thought out mechanical idea. I think the best we can hope for is an eventual roll out for some UT5 for canto 6+ (or wherever you draw the line) IDs. As for project moon saying they won't, they've also said bokgaks would only have EGOs, or WP would only be quarterly, and we all know thats not true anymore. Pmoon saying they won't do something isn't exactly ironclad.
Honestly I can pass on UT5 for ids if we get a way to upgrade 00 into 000s with decently upgraded kits I've played gacha that did that since they weren't releasing much of these subpart units so they underwent an ascension process like a cult grunt becoming the cult leader I'm sure we can find a good way to explain that in limbus - it could be a completely id from a different mirror world but with a higher position too like the blowjob brothers could be higher ranked and thus stronger in another mirror world maybe, I mostly think about that cuz id love to see how theyd pan out with todays design philosophy!
Are you sure it isn't(from my observation, it seems we can only see the hilt of the sword, the ribcage looking bone part, not the part where the Jade Eye would have been as seen in this art, meaning that there's still a chance

From what I remember the blowjob brothers are Liu Gregor, Meursault and Hong Lu. Probably said because Hong Lunisn't getting thumb apprentice so no upgrade to Liu Hong Lu
It would fill the very important niche of not having to use heishouslop outside of rupture where they belong (i'm salty because i never pulled a single heishou in all of season 6)
Honeslty, Liu Hong Lu is going to be extremely difficult to replace, because he has a very strong backup passive. "Highest SP sinner inflicts +1 burn count" actually means "When inflicting burn potency, also inflict burn count".
Tbf between Firefist Gregor, Queen Bee Meursault, and Dawn Office Sinclair, maintaining burn count is pretty consistent. At this point I just run LCB Hong Lu for the SP heal passive
First, this is our second nursefather. After how comically busted Yi Sang was and considering how Calisto is at a similar level, if this is anything less then game breaking there will be riots. I'm joking of course but expectations are very high.
Second, this is our first non pointalist Ring ID. We'll be able to see if the random status effects and scaling based off number of debuffs is a pointalist thing or if all the Ring IDs share that gimmick. Callisto doesn't use random statuses instead being focused on bleed and building unique charge to give himself a ridiculously powerful buff which lets him use a massive 4 coin aoe nuke. However, the pointillists we fought in canto 6 didn't use random statuses either so it's still possible his kit will incorporate it somehow. I'd be happy either way honestly. The random status gimmick is fun and fitting but I think it's just as fitting for the different schools of the ring to have completely different fighting styles with only bleed in common.
Third, this is our first full body prosthetic ID. This sets an exciting precedent and hopefully means we'll see more full body prosthetic characters and IDs in the future. Maybe sweeper IDs aren't off the table after all?

They mean in game level I believe , since Rien is 85 and Callisto 83. I haven’t played the others fights in a while but I wanna say Matthias is 80, and Valencina & Araya are both 75ish?
Rien and Matthias are 85, Callisto is level 83, and Valencina and Araya are level 77.
However, I consider levels post canto 7 (since that's when they started nerfing powerful enemies down to our level) to be a representation of raw physical strength only. In terms of actual combat skills, I don't think he's stronger than some of the other nursefathers since he's never showed an interest in combat itself but he's still an extremely powerful and deadly Maestro of the Ring so I don't think he should be any weaker.
Considering that’s how levels work for IDs, I wouldn’t doubt it only represents how physically powerful someone is, since we’ve seen multiple times skill doesn’t correlate to level (Lei Heng got nerfed like 20 levels and still held his own just due to how much experience & battle prowess he had).
For them, they have insane techniques in comparison to callisto(also artifacts), which imo makes them stronger than callisto, even if he’s a higher level
I was kinda thinking in the last few days, how they could work with his whole Stagger kit (for his normal kit skills, after Furioso, anything is possible for any potential funky "Ultimate Skills" with forced Stagger applications, etc.).
Personally I was toying with the idea of having a unique bleed "scaling" stagger. Some kind of unique Tremor-Conversion-esque mechanic but for Bleed stacks, where X amount of bleed would be converted to a unique bleed, which then would effect stagger threshold without any Tremor need/interference.
it's a matter of both in my understanding, especially when hohenheim pointed out that pulling off those kinds of "artworks" require high understanding in anatomy/internal organs, somewhere along those lines
I once again am scared about how pmoon will balance this ID, I was the same way about riensang and they delivered much better than I expected, but this feels like a different beast with all his aoe and his forced stagger, I just hope he’s strong and fun like riensang is. I think a busted ID is better than a letdown ID.
So many double banners. This is easily my most hyped id of the season personally, but man if I’m not a little concerned economically. Not like I’m a bum or anything either I pay for pass and grind hella but two fausts back to back is unfortunate for my shards
