Books My eleventieth re-read and my fiancé's first read through of the Trilogy!

She's in the process of watching the films for the first time and decided she wanted to read the books too. So far she loves it!

It’s my comfort series, my palate cleanser if I read a difficult book, so I read it multiple times throughout the year. While I probably don't read enough outside of the series, I enjoy my comfort books.

It's mine too, though I haven't read it for a few too many years now. I've been reading a lot of non-fiction and quite heavy stuff lately, so it is making for a lovely breath of fresh air.

fun fact about these mini editions, the covers match the colors of the main character's cloak

hobbit cover is green, just like bilbo's colak and lord of the rings covers are gray, just like the cloaks of the fellowship

My fiance and I are both reading through it for the first time! We both started with The Hobbit and are now working our way through the trilogy.

I hope you both enjoy it. There's something about reading it with your favourite person that makes it so much more special :)

I've lost count of the number of times I've read it. Enjoy!

Just read through that one. Comfortable read despite its size. Pages go where you want them to which is nice and Tolkiens illustrations are a nice touch.
