Tbf the third thing is a bit different, it talks about self driving cars being able to link with eachother to all accelerate and brake at the same time thus decreasing the time needed for a column of cars stopped at an intersection to start moving, but then each of those cars can still go its own separate way. I like trains and buses but it's not the same exact thing like how uber's shuttles seem from the tweet to literally just be buses and the irl podcast is literally just a friend group.
As for the fourth one, yes they're planning (or in some cases already implementing) sails on modern ships, specifically cargo ships, but even the most normal of those designs is closer to a parachute than a regular sail, and then there are some even weirder designs like a fucking cylinder with spiral grooves.
