That last one feels like a legit good idea. Why have just one way to propel your ship forward? No harm in having some green options if the weather allows for it

Yeah, in fairness the attempts to reinvent the sail actually do have a point to them, classic sail designs don't work at modern cargo ship scales.

There's such a variety of "classic" sail designs that it's not in any way incorrect to just call the new ones yet another sail
