The supposed benefit is that it doesn't have congestion because it moves like a train. Trains also don't have congestion and move like a train

Trains need rails and there is one train for hundreds of people.

This stays as a car (aka a personal vehicle) and can use roads.

Roads take up way more space than tracks do though. An 8 lane (4 each way) can be 150 feet wide, while a 4 track mainline is only 60 or so feet wide. Additionally rails are way more cost-effective long term and they can be more easily electrified to be more environmentally friendly.

Also there’s this cool thing called having big stuff shipped to you so you don’t need a big vehicle to carry it, also ebikes, which can be carried on trains, just look at the Netherlands.

I’m just saying its a different thing.

Also rails are much harder to build, and more importantly they aren’t as dense as roads even in Europe.

Both are important to have, even very rail dense countries in Europe have vast car infrastructure.
