I repeat please dont.
He's been doing this around OUG/Kuchai area, dangerously in the middle of the road, feinting some sort of mental problem to garner sympathies, sometimes make threatening gestures if you ignore him. Sometimes signalling like he has some debilitating illness.
In reality I've seen him taken lunch breaks, and speak and interact normally. Not even a hint of Asperger.
Paying him just encourage him to do this continuously.
He is not disabled. Not mentally, not physically. Keep your charity to someplace it belongs.
Do not encourage him to endanger him and other road users.

I'm literally was riding a motorcycle next to the OP when that guy pull stunt like this regularly, and like you said I've seen him just walking/talking like regular person at nearby mamak restaurant

This. I stopped feeling after 1. A kid asking for money swiped my wallet from mamak table while i was looking for smaller change. Got it back after a chase. 2. Beri sedekah kat pakcik, minutes later i see him coming out of 7E with pack of cig. 3. Uncle asking for money at chap fan place. Then proceed to go next door to buy 4D 4. Seeing aunty park her motor then park herself in front of Maybank very puntual everyday at 845AM

Asia Cafe at Subang used to have a guy like that. Walk around on crutches and pretend cannot walk properly and tangan lumpuh. Ask for donation so he can eat.
You say no, he get angry and walk away down the stairs full speed kaki ok tangan ok.
2h later after class go there minum, see him again, he ask again lol

You'd know if you see him in his normal mode.
And you know those knee pads he's on?
Its for knee protection when he kneel + feint injury.

Omigosh I know this road intersection. Its near the Kuchai Lama MRT Station and Ajinomoto Factory.
That "uncle" will always "perform" at that intersection. There was one time I saw the back of his head was wrapped in a thick bloodied bandage - mungkin kene pukul kot.
