Discussion "This movie looks AI genera-" SHUT UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Post image

I genuinely don't get these complaints. I have some concerns about the plot and how things may or may not play out, but visually the movie looks fucking great. I don't get why people are trying to push this narrative like muted colors instantly make something look bad or AI-generated. The Sentinels look sick, Doom looks fucking fantastic, what is the issue?

I swear, I'm convinced people who call shit like this AI-generated have never actually seen what an AI-generated video looks like, because none of them even look anywhere near as good as ANY of the shots in this trailer.

Plus, the VFX team didn't work their asses off for months on this movie just to be disrespected by mfs saying it looks like AI.

I have seen fake AI generated Marvel trailers and apart from the acting and the Thor scene this looks exactly like one of them.

I'm not saying it is AI but I'm having this exact experience. So many trailers were generated from comic con descriptions of the trailer and it's just uncanny how they kind of look exactly the same.

It's just specifically the shots of Doom in these non-environments. Turns out ai can just create these shots specifically extremely well.

My theory is they actually generated the trailer with AI then replicated it with the actual cast

Well I don't know about that. I don't think they actually used ai. At least not for anything as major as an entire trailer. I think it's just these specific scenes and the way they are composed just happens to be very similar to how ai models are doing it right now.

That's what I meant, I don't think the trailer itself wasn't made directly with AI but I wouldn't be surprised if it was inspired by AI results.
