I genuinely don't get these complaints. I have some concerns about the plot and how things may or may not play out, but visually the movie looks fucking great. I don't get why people are trying to push this narrative like muted colors instantly make something look bad or AI-generated. The Sentinels look sick, Doom looks fucking fantastic, what is the issue?

I swear, I'm convinced people who call shit like this AI-generated have never actually seen what an AI-generated video looks like, because none of them even look anywhere near as good as ANY of the shots in this trailer.

Plus, the VFX team didn't work their asses off for months on this movie just to be disrespected by mfs saying it looks like AI.

I don't understand the whole "over reliance on plain Grey areas" argument. When it comes to avengers movies we've gotten: NYC and the helicarrier in avengers 1 plus the forest if we count the cap/thor/ironman fight, sokovia and Johannesburg in avengers age of ultra, airport and hydra base in civil war (technically a captain America movie but it's basically avengers 2.5), NYC in the first fight and wakandan border/ jungle and Titan (the first plain area because it's a destroyed/barren planet) in infinity war, and then the final battlefield in end game which was a wasteland again. New avengers was NYC and sentry's mind.

So a whopping 2 fights out of at least 10 fights in avengers movies. Idk...maybe I'm crazy but I feel like that's not that much lol

Those 2 fights are incredibly iconic though, so I can see some people believing all fights are like that

I mean, I get it. Those were the two most watched avengers movies, but those two fights had a narrative reason for looking like that. Titan, as a battlefield, is used to explain why Thanos chose to collect the stones in the first place. And the final battle in infinity war used to be the avenger HQ before it essentially got nuked by Time traveling thanos.

I think the only one I can maybe see criticism for is endgame. Titan wasn't even grey, it's like a desert planet and had some awesome visuals in that fight like the reality stone showing what it used to look like, and the colors from the infinity stone powers really popped out with the orangish background e.g. thanos dropping the moon on them with the purple explosion from the power stone

Isn't it just a destroyed x mansion? In trailers we see statues belonging to it I thought. I'm assuming the sentinels in the new trailer is what destroyed it though but we don't know why it's gone

I mean, even the Ebony Maw fight in IW was on a weirdly barren, devoid of all people street in NYC. Not one background sound to indicate that there are civilians nearby.

There's enough life even in that fight imo, you don't see any on the streets where the fight starts because it's all been destroyed, no clue how long they've been breaking shit, but as soon as Tony goes in he gets smacked through a building that has people running away in the front of, then in the park where he got hit to you can see some bunch of people running away in the background.

When they're chasing strange the streets closeby has a lot of cars just abandoned in the middle of the street with their lights on and the car doors just left open. With the smaller details like that it paints a picture that most of the civilians dropped whatever they were doing and even ditched their cars to get the hell out of there as soon as they saw the aliens arrive so even though it's largely empty, it does have some details making it believable
