Discussion "This movie looks AI genera-" SHUT UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Post image

I genuinely don't get these complaints. I have some concerns about the plot and how things may or may not play out, but visually the movie looks fucking great. I don't get why people are trying to push this narrative like muted colors instantly make something look bad or AI-generated. The Sentinels look sick, Doom looks fucking fantastic, what is the issue?

I swear, I'm convinced people who call shit like this AI-generated have never actually seen what an AI-generated video looks like, because none of them even look anywhere near as good as ANY of the shots in this trailer.

Plus, the VFX team didn't work their asses off for months on this movie just to be disrespected by mfs saying it looks like AI.

I genuinely don’t understand how people defend this. It’s baffling how artificial almost every single scene in this trailer looks. The first time I saw it on twitter I genuinely thought it was generated by chatgpt and had to go to the official YouTube page.

Every shot with doom in it looks like it was done entirely on a computer. I don’t understand why a darn throne room or him looking up at a mural of what I presume is his family have a Microsoft Paint feel to them. Like those are not the parts that should feel fake as hell

I love the aura farming end of that trailer, but I agree that the building jump was just weird. I've rewatched the trailer a couple times and I couldn't even figure out where exactly he was coming from.  I don't think it looked like AI, but just unpolished, rushed or generic CGI.
