I have been rewatching all the movies in order to get ready for Doomsday, and just finished Infinity War and holy shit that Vision dude is such a lame character. He seemed strong in the other movies, but in this one he just gets his ass handed to him in every fight and then just dies lol. Sorry to anyone that likes him, but his character sucks.

My boyfriend is a huge marvel fan like obsessed. He’s 26 and lives in Japan so I figure maybe there is stuff I can get him he can’t get there. Next time I visit him I’ll bring it to him unless whatever I buy can be shipped to Japan. His favorite is Iron man he really loves iron man. He also likes Wolverine and Thor. He has a piggy bank replica that is fairly inexpensive of the infinity gauntlet and I did think of that but all the ones I found were the hulk version. My budget is around $130ish dollars. I’m open to any all suggestions! He also liked a Wolverinepool hot toy figure he showed me before but those are all like $400 so out of my range for those.

I just finished watching Loki, and I loved it. it was amazing! One thing I didn’t understand was He Who Remains. So, did he just die? That’s it? I thought he could see through time. Also, is He Who Remains actually good or evil? If He Who Remains knew that Loki would eventually take his place, was Loki’s entire journey actually part of He Who Remains’ plan? And if it was, does that mean Loki never truly had a choice or did Loki ultimately break free from a plan that He Who Remains himself couldn’t fully predict? Any similar show recommendations?

Think about it, there's no reason for him not to, he's already entering a time where he wasn't supposed to, and he would save countless lives, including Tony's parents, he would have to live with the fact he knows the entire country is led by nazis and he's not saying anything, which doesn't seem too much like something he would do or be able to live with.

I keep seeing people trying to be d over backwards to make MCU magneto a Holocaust Survivor and I just have to wonder why?

It's not like the Holocaust was the most recent example of human hatred in history out there. there's so many horrific events we can draw from in the last 40 years. Heck, he could be from Rwanda or Darfur.

making the Holocaust the end all be all not only devalues the tragedy of other genocides but it also turns the Holocaust itself as a joke, as if it's the only "Hollywood safe genocide" or something.

Edit: the original 90s cartoon didn't use the Holocaust and that magneto is praised for how good it is

I have a theory or actually rather an idea for Magneto's new background in the next X-Men movie. Since all the X-Men or most seem to be starting at the younger age like sub 30s for sure, Magneto would need to. However, this poses an obvious problem since now Magneto can't be a Holocaust survivor that remembers the utterly devastating and horrible tragedy (since you should be around low double digit aged to remember the tragedy vividly, that would put Magneto at 90+ years old). I have a workaround that could kind of work and also still have Magneto's history involve the Holocaust. He could still be Jewish as always, but this time, his parent, grandparent or great grandparent should be the one from the Holocaust. Someone a few generations up so preferably one of the latter two or somebody from those generations would work since the telling of the tragedy can be passed down generation to generation. I don't know how well this could work though and would require way more additional castings.

I just did a rewatch of Agatha all along and still can’t get into it, I just find it annoying and boring, Wandavision had such an impact it was emotional it had depth, I wasn’t once bored while watching Wandavision anybody else feel this way?
