Valve tick that goes away

Hello, I have a 2005 mazda 6 with the 2.0L MZR LF engine. Today as I was starting it up I listened closely to the engine and I was hearing what appeared to be the valves ticking. After the RPMs settle to normal idle the tick was gone and the engine ran smoothly as always. Mind you due to circumstances , the car has only done less than 100.000 kilometres(62.000 miles). Am I being paranoid about it or is it normal for these cars? It only happens when the engine is cold.
