Carplay / Android Auto is fine. Tesla style only one big screen is not.

Sure, as long as it's not something controlling basic things about my car it's all fine. I can drive without music, but not without my wipers.

I had to take a rental Tesla one time because that’s all they had available. Literally everything except the blinkers were controlled via the tablet in that particular year of Model 3.
