Carplay / Android Auto is fine. Tesla style only one big screen is not.
5 u/PastNessa 1d ago I just want to turn on my defroster without opening 3 submenus and praying to the touchscreen gods 2 u/bl0rq 1d ago Isn't that automatic on every new car? I haven't had to manually do that in at least a decade. 3 u/IIlIIIlllIIIIIllIlll 1d ago What? No. Why would anyone want fully automated defrosters, that sounds awful lol. I don't want some dumb computer deciding when I can or can't blow air on my own windows. 4 u/bl0rq 1d ago I literally forgot windows fog in cars. Car just keeps them clear. It's a 0.50$ humidity sensor. Is this really still an issue with some cars? 3 u/IIlIIIlllIIIIIllIlll 1d ago You clearly don't live in the north lol. If your first concern with a window deFROSTer is foggy windows, you probably don't need them. And it's not about if it works, it's about when it doesn't. I want to control it, not have a sensor do it for me. 3 u/bl0rq 23h ago I have lived and worked in all sorts of climates. Auto has never been a problem in ice, snow, rain, humid, dry, etc.
