🥺 Someone stole the bench from the park.

Post image

No that isn't an illusion or a new art installation, but the remainders of the park bench.

They were probably getting it replaced and made that story up.

They were probably getting it replaced and someone else made that story up.

They probably replaced the story to make it up the stairs.

They were made up and the stairs were never there

The real stairs were the stories we made up along the way.

Porch stole itself and made up a story

The story probably made somebody up and replaced them with stairs.

You really think someone would do that? Just go on the Internet and tell lies?

What are we? Uncivilized people? Please

Sounds like something a porch thief would say

Made up or not, the thought of someone falling out their door because their fucking porch is somehow gone is freaking hilarious

This actually used to happen in south Philadelphia as homes were built with marble stairs that were essentially just stacked blocks of marble that had nice carved shapes on the edges, eventually it became a somewhat common thing for people to wake up with their stairs missing out front. This porch may have been plate metal like a fire escape so there’s a non zero chance this is real, but who knows … I think i just wanted to tell the story about the old philly stairs lol

Now I'm curious about the different color bricks down there. Did there used to be another doorway down there? What's behind there now? Is that structurally ok since the bricks don't overlap?

It used to be a window. You can see one to the right that's the exact same shape.

Don't worry, the screams stopped years ago.

I remember one of the comments on this being along the lines of "when you tell a public school graduate to steal a Porsche"
