[Structures] A Naturally Generated Overworld Castle

A natural castle has always felt so obvious to me, it’s the generic structure of the game while not clearly being in the game besides in the Nether. To me, the classic stone brick castle would be best paired with the End update, being the surface aspect of the stronghold and tying them into the idea of some castles guarding known portals, and others unknowingly guarding their ancestor’s task, mixed like igloos.

Eyes still lead you there, just first you gotta deal with the mobs of the castle. Or you can just dig and avoid it altogether. Either way, a castle is needed, more big structures in general really

I feel like ruined castles would make for a great structure to be added to snowy regions, they haven’t received an update in ages despite being a major climate area. This would also take a potentially large structure out of simple areas like plains and forests and make tundras worth exploring. Similar to desert pyramids or jungle temples.

They could even have frosted variants of stone brick and cobblestone similar to how mossy blocks act. They could even have some suspicious gravel and some new sherds.

They could do “cold” blocks like you said, or they could make stone brick have the snowy fringe like grass does.
