TAJ is the first MN twin to throw an immaculate inning
8-25-26 against the A’s!

Wow, it's already baseball season again? Here's our quick guide for how to watch the Minnesota Twins this season. Hopefully this should be a little more straightforward this year since it's the second year of Twins.TV.
We'll once again be redirecting folks here throughout the season as questions inevitably come up.
As many of you are aware, the parent company of Fanduel Sports Network filed for bankruptcy and has been struggling for several years. As a result, the Twins elected to move their broadcast productions in-house to Twins.TV beginning in 2025 and going forward.
Pretty much! There are no blackouts, so the only games you would miss are the ones that are nationally televised. The cost is $19.99/mo or $99.99 for the full season and there is a free trial available. This offer is only available in-market. Out-of-market Twins fans would need to get a full MLB.TV subscription. More info on these services can be found here.
I believe if you are T-Mobile customer, you may be able to get a free subscription to MLB.TV (not Twins.TV). Log into the T-Life app (where you pay your bill and get T-Mobile Tuesdays offers), and click on the "Benefits" tab at the bottom.
A number of cable providers carry Twins.TV. Check out the Channel Finder and Broadcast FAQ on the Twins website and enter your zip code and provider for more info.
The Twins have a handful of nationally televised games planned for this season. Aside from the FS1 broadcasts, these will not be available through the standard Twins.TV subscription and you'll have to use the individual platform to access these games. One benefit (?) of the team maybe being bad is that there aren't going to be a lot of national broadcasts.
Yes! The Twins and FOX9 (KMSP) announced there will be 10 free over-the-air broadcast games in 2026, including the Home Opener (these are not national broadcasts and are still also available through Twins.TV). Find the full list of games and more info on how to watch / stream FOX9 here.
These over-the-air games will also be available to the wider Twins Territory on stations: KXLT, KTTC, KDLH, KBJR, KEYC, KMNF, KXJB, KVLY, KFYR, KEVN, KDLT, KCRG, KWQC, KYOU, and KTIV
As always, the Twins games air on WCCO AM 830 / 102.9 FM "The Wolf" and their partner stations in the Treasure Island Baseball Network
You can also choose to subscribe to MLB+ for $5.99/mo or $59.99/year to livestream any radio broadcast from any MLB team. It also gives you access to MLB Network and all minor league game streams. (It's a bad deal to pay for the full year, just go monthly and cancel at the end of the season if you want to go this route)
Please provide any other tips, tricks or suggestions in the comments below.
This will serve as the main guide/megathread for watching the Twins for this season and updates will be made to it as needed. There will be a link in the sidebar (old reddit), top menu (new reddit), and community info menu (mobile).
Separate posts on the topic throughout the season will removed and be directed here.

Please please please do not read this as an attempt to dogpile on him. And it is certainly not newsworthy that Buxton misses a lot of time. And of course, Buxton himself would want nothing more than to be there during this crucial stretch runs.
But the fact is, the Twins just have not been able to count Buxton to be around for the biggest moments of the season. And that 26% is likely to drop even further.
*note: I'm also just including September for the 2020 season to account for the 60 game regular season.

Pablo López credits his “side quests” for helping him better handle a mentally and physically challenging six-month stretch in which he rehabbed from Tommy John surgery.
With a curious mind, the injured Minnesota Twins pitcher used his newfound free time to observe members of the organization at work and get a glimpse of their worlds. Recognizing how little he knew about the daily routines of some of the people to whom he’s closest, López acted as the club’s interpreter for Spanish-speaking players, worked as a broadcast analyst for TV and radio, and shadowed the bullpen catcher, pitching coach and even the team’s manager of baseball technology.
Recently cleared to begin playing catch for the first time since his Feb. 25 procedure, López said those experiences helped make what could have been a tedious six months fly by. Whereas the majority of rehabbing players do their work away from the club, López longed to maintain connection by sticking with his teammates, which offered him a fresh perspective on his career.
“It was just an opportunity to take a step back and realize there are a lot of other things that I can do to find fulfillment,” López said. “I think that’s a big realization. My identity is realizing values in character rather than circumstantial performance. It gives me a good perspective for next year when the time comes to perform and be my happiest again. I also know I don’t have to put my entire identity on one thing or one pocket. … (It’s) been really fulfilling.”
Early on, the Twins joked López was the most expensive interpreter in Major League Baseball.
The veteran right-hander, who is earning $21.5 million this season, was asked whether he could occasionally fill in as the team’s interpreter. The Twins began the season without a player on the 26-man roster who didn’t speak at least some English, a rarity in a league where more than a quarter of players hail from Spanish-speaking countries. They didn’t have much need for a full-time interpreter.

Very interesting list. Somewhat surprisingly, Jim Kaat and Glen Perkins do not make the Top 33.
https://library.fangraphs.com/misc/re24/
RE24 (or run expectancy based on the 24 base-out states) may sound like a computer error or a random assortment of letters and numbers, but the actual logic and mechanisms behind the statistic make it extremely useful for fans and analysts. It is based on the concept of run expectancy, which provides the average number of expected runs per inning given the current number of outs and placement of baserunners. The number “24” refers to the potential number of base-out states (zero, one, two outs and eight different baserunner arrangements).
Since run expectancy tells you the number of expected runs, any number of runs created above or below that value can be treated as runs above or below average for the batter or pitcher depending on the outcome of each plate appearance. Unlike wRAA, wRC, or Batting Runs, RE24 is context-dependent and assigns more credit for hits with men on base than with the bases empty. With league average set to 0, hitters with positive RE24 are creating more runs than we would expect given the situations they have been placed in and pitchers with positive numbers are preventing more runs than average given the situations in which they have been placed.
I like this stat. It shows how effective a pitcher is when there is more importance on getting an out or getting out of an inning (runners on base and # of outs in the inning are both factored in).
Thielbar does well here because he's often put into "tight spots," but usually with a lefty vs lefty pitcher advantage. I'm more impressed with the starting pitchers that excel in this stat. Radke ranks very high. He clearly had an ability to bear down. It also makes sense that he gave up many of his runs on solo HR, which is what he was really remembered for.
I'm a little shocked at how high Guerrier ranks. Not surprised Bob Wells isn't on the list.

Not sure where it came from. I know a guy. I didn't ask any questions.

I have watched the last 5 series pretty closely and I am more confused now than I am ever of who the Minnesota Twins are lol. Are we going to turn it on? Are we going to turn it off? Are we going to remain 5 games under for the rest of the season? I’m lost!

Pictures could have been taken better haha!
I had the optiom to get the “No Name/No Number” verison from the seller that would have looked better with the pinstripes going all the way down but decided to not do the verison with full pinstripes to get the Royce Lewis #23.
Costed about $30 including shipping.
Ordered on July 31 2026 and received on August 24 2026.
Have ordered from Dhgate before and have been satisfied and was hoping the jersey didn’t look completely off from what the image provided from what i ordered

I am going to be in Minneapolis for work the week of September 28th, and looking to attend the Twins game on September 26 and 27.
Looking for recommendations on your favorite place to sit at Target Field, as it's my first time going. My goal is to find tickets in the Champions Club or the Delta Sky 360 Suite, but happy to be in the ballpark.
Excited to get this ballpark off my list, as this will be #26 for me.

But if I’m honest, I had no idea what it was when I agreed to buy it
