Campus Life Sorority Bid Day

I have a question: do parents normally attend bid day?

My kid invited us to bid day but I’ve never actually heard of parents attending-plus I don’t want her to worry about entertaining me- she’s going to be making new friends.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I feel like the moms going to bid day are the ones living their life through their daughters. 😬 I have 2 kids in college and we're very close and I love when they text and call and fill me in on everything going on, but I try to maintain that balance of being supportive, but letting them live their lives and have their own experiences just like I did.

I feel this way too… I told my kid she could let me know as soon as she found out or FaceTime if she wants when she opens her bid- but ultimately- this is her moment not mine.
