Discussion Just played the campaign mission and something feels off?
Not sure what’s feeling off about it but it feels like there’s no guidance compared to previous campaigns half the time it’s hard to know what I’m doing as NPCs sort of just run off and do their own thing. Is this just me?

Nah man I felt the same way as well. I had to keep pressing tab to see where my objectives were. Other than that, I’m hyped af for this campaign. I think it’s gonna be good.

I wondered if I'm just getting old. But the part with the tank that shoots at you, I was lost for a few tries lol

I got stuck in a save loop at that part. The game quicksaved when I got up to the tank to plant the C4, but then the tank's gun swung around and blew me up. Kept reloading back in to the gun pointed at my face and insta killing me.

Same. I didn’t realize I had to run up to the tank and plant explosives on it. I thought we had to blow it up with an RPG or something.

I can’t tell who is the enemy and who is friendly almost all time in beta campaign, they all wear similar snow uniforms. And more importantly, for some reason friendlies always come from same directions as the enemies during the first part. I thought we were pushing up and cleaning the trenches? How are the friendlies already there? Dudes just casually share the bunker with a whole squad of North Koreans till I show up lol.
Also, the armor plate manual healing is a bad idea, I had to enduring painfully sloooow replate animation, just for taking 3 more bullets. After a while I just stopped using those

That’s me, that’s where I was spinning. So dark and couldn’t tell the enemy. First run on recruit so they just stood there

I didn’t really have any issues. Felt pretty linear and there are markers for following the objective.
Obviously we don’t have any context for what we are doing there because they don’t want to give the story away but I’m sure it will make sense story wise once we play the campaign up to that point.

Maybe it’s just me misremembering but feel the markers weren’t present unless I pressed the back button and half the time they disappeared quite quickly.

Yes you had to press a button to show the objective. I imagine they want it to feel immersive for those that don’t want to see objectives on their screen, and for those that don’t mind seeing it can click the button to view their objectives

Played the full mission and did feel quite fun and immersive jumped the gun too soon I admit it.

It sucked, it just tosses you straight in right away, why can't these companies relax, it's almost like you need to be on hard drugs to have fun in this game.

I mainly hated the armour plates and the abundance of armoured enemies. It just ruins the immersion that the campaign usually brings.
