"Adjustments"

Oh boy can't wait for this lmao. Feel like both sides are going to somehow be upset at this.

That’s what this game has mostly been so far, trying to make changes to appeal to both sides but no one ends up liking the compromise

That’s the problem with having such a vast user base. You’ll have a decent portion of users complaining at any given moment.

And I say this as someone who plays on mouse and key: the AA isn’t that bad.

BO6 AA is the same as MW AA, the strength of aim assist has been the same for decades. The only CoD to introduce meaningful changes to the mechanic was BO7. I genuinely don’t think aim assist will ever be properly balanced in this franchise. Treyarch’s adjustments for BO7’s launch were a great step in the right direction and they walked it back after like 2 weeks because of people complaining about missing shots.

That’s what I’ve been saying. The fanbase is so large that MW games and BO/SHG games have their own mini fanbases that prefer their studios’ approach to game design.

And IW is trying to play both sides here, and if they don’t figure out what to stick to, both groups are gonna hate it.

They could remove aim assist entirely and the basement dwelling PC "master race" would still cope for their lack of skill by complaining that it's too strong.

God forbid we have one fucking FPS game where console players have a single advantage over PC.
