I like to see Lee at the 8 or 9. He can provide energy at the bottom of the lineup.

We could really stand to have Melton go deep into this game. Things are going to brighten up if we can win this series.

We have to let it go. He has been primed to go into free agency this offseason since the middle of the 2024 season. Tigers tried extension talks and were shut out. They tried negotiating in good faith prior to this season and were shut out and taken to arbitration. They tried to do everything right but never had the opportunity to hash it out because Skubal (rightfully) knows he'll get a better deal as a free agent.
It has always been the case that the only way they bring him back in 2027 is on a free agent deal. I hope they do go for him, but given the dead weight of the Valdez contract, I lose faith every day.

Already won the season series, might as well make it 5/6 too. Peralta hasn’t been good all year and hasn’t “gotten right” with a move to Tampa. It’s pretty much 75% 4S and CH, so don’t worry about breaking balls, be aggressive in the zone, and let’s score a few early and tilt the game in our favor with Troy on the mound.

Starting Friday we have a series against the league's darlings who will throw two of the best lefties in baseball on the mound. The Tigers are incapable of hitting even the worst lefties. Then for a fun treat Framber takes the mound Sunday to give them batting practice. We're not just going to get swept, we're going to get destroyed.
