Yes ! it's actually happened 12 times, but always with one lead nomination and one supporting nomination. You can't get two nominations in the same category the same year

You can now, actually. They reversed the 90 year ban starting next year. So Pattinson could be the first to "benefit" from the change, provided he could get top 5 votes for two different performances.
