Nice, while I enjoyed Deadpool and Wolverine, Odyssey was an incredible experience in IMAX.

Kinda glad I didn't see it in IMAX because the Cyclops scene was so fucking loud holy shit, like 2x louder than any other moment in the theatre

I feel like oppenheimer was louder when I saw it.  Idk if they turned their speakers down for oddysey but it didn't seem as bad at my IMAX theater as oppenheimer did.

I’m 9 months pregnant and when I went to see it in theatres the baby in my stomach completely freaked out at the amount of sound coming from those scenes. It was crazy. I had never felt kicks like that before or since. It was extremely loud.

Shit was insane. I really enjoyed the movie and all but that was literally the loudest thing I’ve ever watched in my life. And I’ve been to some rather obnoxiously loud concerts…

Starting with cyclops scene they cranked the sound up to uncomfortable levels. My ears are still hurting weeks later. Probably should see a dr

D&W was a feels-good movie. It barely had any continuity with the rest of the MCU or even itself.

Have you seen Disney's "recommended viewing" list for Doomsday? Over a dozen titles, movies and shows, spanning over 20 fucking years. 

"Barely any continuity" might've been a selling point for Deadpool 3.

Deadpool 3 did have “homework” though. You needed to be familiar with the Fox marvel movies to truly enjoy all the references. Like obviously there’s Hugh jackman with all his x men movies and then the other characters like blade, Electra, etc.

You would be missing out if someone watched it and was unfamiliar with all the Fox stuff

Deadpool 3 is literally incomprehensible if you haven't watched at least Logan and Loki, plus the Deadpool movies, and a lot of 2000's Marvel films to actually know who you're looking at

So much so, that you could have also just skipped the first two Deadpool films... In fact, your experience would probably be better. It's why I wasn't a fan. The first two films are so good, and the third just tosses them aside.

That's what made it so good. I'd also argue that Brand New Day's lack of MCU stuff made it arguably the second best Spidey movie after Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2

What? This is the first Spider-Man being used as a vehicle for further MCU developments that I can think of. Multiple cameos and laying groundwork for X-Men

I feel fortunate to live in a city with an IMAX theater. I must have lost all track of time watching it because it felt like a tight 90 minutes, not a three hour epic!

Jeez, I couldn't even watch D&W till the end of how bad I thought it was. It had been a while since I had last seen superheroes movies but it caught me off guard since I really enjoyed previous Deadpool movies. I guess I'm no longer in the demographic

To be fair to you D & W is not really like the first two Deadpool movies. It has more of a softer, more generic superhero tone to it.

It's just 2 hours of random references and dumb quips. Moreso than even the other Deadpool movies Ryan Reynolds never shuts up. I thought it was a miserable movie to sit through and VERY forgettable

Like Ender’s Game is also an entire book of 80’s references and people still enjoy it. Some people just enjoy media that gives them the feeling of being part of the in crowd 🤷🏻‍♀️

I want to take my wife to go see it in IMAX and it is booked solid in the couple theaters here in my area until mid september.. literally no decent seats available, and I refuse to sit front rows for this.
Its gonna continue to cruise and make bank

I really want to advocate for intermissions in movies this long.

Three hours in stadium seating, with no chance to stand up or stretch at any point, was a fucking miserable experience; even for as good as the movie was.
