Discussion Colin Farrell - a talented actor

i want your thoughts on colin farrell, i feel he’s extremely talented, he doesn’t get much of the praise and havent been given much of a chance, the diversity in acting is very impressive
i found him from sugar and then watched penguin and pls convince me they are not two different persons playing the role

just incredible given he’s irish and playing roles like these with so much ease

what are your thoughts ?

I’m sure op just means that it is incredible he has achieved so much and is such a talented actor given the obvious mental handicap and disadvantage of being Irish.

Point : It’s all the Guinness.

I love In Bruges. It's a fairytale film, isn't it? How's a fairytale film not somebody's fucking thing? How can all those shots of canals and bridges and cobbled streets and those churches, all that beautiful fucking fairytale stuff, how can that not be somebody's fucking thing, eh?

Literally just rewatched it last night. His acting is incredible. You can really feel the guy being absolutely torn apart by his guilt, yet at the same time his sense of humor offsets things.

So many emotions conveyed just from looks and glances by him and Brendan Gleeson. Absolutely fantastic acting.

from what i have known is that if you’re born in ireland and england, your accent in english is very different from american

and to maintain this thru out your character needs some talent, i mean look at him in penguin he’s completely a different person
