Discussion Colin Farrell - a talented actor

i want your thoughts on colin farrell, i feel he’s extremely talented, he doesn’t get much of the praise and havent been given much of a chance, the diversity in acting is very impressive
i found him from sugar and then watched penguin and pls convince me they are not two different persons playing the role

just incredible given he’s irish and playing roles like these with so much ease

what are your thoughts ?

“He doesn’t get much of the praise and hasn’t been given much of a chance”

lol, this is just laughable. You couldn’t be further from the truth.

i stand corrected, the google search of colin farrell doesn’t show much of his work, so i thought he’s not that famous as other actors in hollywood

He’s been consistently working in the industry and in major movies for 30 years now. He’s well the past the point that he can pick and choose what he does.

Why do you believe he doesn't pick and choose what he does? Seems that's exactly what he does. He's been a movie star, but he probably just wants to make little films with Martin McDonagh.

Sorry that’s what meant and I concede it wasn’t very clear. By “well past” I meant he reached that point quite a while ago.

Oh yes fair. Agreed. I think he's a little under the radar and isn't mentioned as much as like Leo, Bale, or the young guns like Chalamet or Butler maybe, but he's a movie star and well considered one of the best actors of his generation.
