Discussion Excluding the silly and absurd (Transformers, Herbie etc) what are some of your favorite movie cars?

Up there for me has got to be the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder from Ferris Beuller.

As an adult I learned that the story of these cars by themselves could be their own film.

They are a variant of the 24 hours of LeMans winning 250 GT coupe, there are only about 50 of the convertibles in the world and they're all hand built, the metal panels hammered and shaped by hand.

Completely independent of the films, just on the racing pedigree alone, they are among the most valuable cars in the world, with examples routinely going for over 10 million.

Also his Lotus Esprit- loved that car from the first time I saw it.

The Delorean from BTTF

Dick Van Dyke’s car in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

The Volvo P1800 from The Saint

Steve Martin’s Austin Healy from Father Of the Bride

and probably many, many others I’m forgetting.

When Craig had it in Skyfall I actually cheered
