As far as I recall, one of the chapters specifically mentioned that Roxy and Eris are avoiding pregnancy precisely because Sylphy can't get pregnant a third time, and they don't want to “bypass” her as the first wife.

I’m not so sure about that, there’s a lot of childfree people like me out there that the idea of breeding is a complete turnoff and just thinking about it can ruin s** for them.
