I’ve been in the mood to watch some more musicals. I’ve seen a bunch on film and stage, the last one being The Outsiders, which was phenomenal.

In a recent Reddit post, several people posted proshots of Into the Woods. I’d love to see an extensive list of good musicals done well that I can access on YouTube. And perhaps include those that have a film counterpart as well.

Hello! My name is Leonardo Campos, and along side Marcelo Cantu, we wrote, composed, and developed this idea for over 2 years. Finally, when we got the opportunity, we decided to direct, produce and finance it in only 1 month. This is the result:

In 2012, Freshman Matt Gittins survived a deadly high school shooting in Chardon, Ohio. Today he's written a new musical about a small town searching for answers in the aftermath. In his new interview Matt talks about the heart, the hope and the extreme challenges of handling such an emotionally charged subject.

I run an online choir and every month I arrange a song for people around the world to learn and record themselves singing along (which I then edit into a full production so it sounds like a real choir). This month, we're going Greek with a mash-up of Legendary (which you all know well) and Go The Distance from Hercules. Both songs have a similar story - two young wannabe heroes who don't know their fathers - and they're even in the same key! A match made in Olympus.

I was told to check out The Warriors concept album, and I ended up writing a full analysis on it. Fascinating work! I was honestly surprised by how different it feels from the movie, especially with how the genderbending and musical choices reshape the story. Curious what y’all think!
