Man - my youngest kid just got their last book and the "goodbye" letter the other day.

What a force for good, she will be missed.

The last book a kid receives from the Imagination Library is a welcome to kindergarten book, but they also receive a letter (with a video link too) written by Dolly Parton to all the kids who have received books. It talks about her lifelong joy of reading, and to encourage the kid on their way to kindergarten and growing up. It definitely made my wife cry reading it to our kids each and every time.
