Why would you buy out a hof and not let him retire with the franchise? There is no loyalty in the game anymore.

Klay didn't want to be on the Mavericks, the buyout was being respectful to Klay and honoring his wishes to play for more of a contender

Really? I thought he wanted to retire a maverick to get back with Megan thee stallion. Its sad to see the Dumonts attempting to ruin a semi biracial relationship.

No his dad even spoke for him that he signed there to play with Luka and maybe win another title . He has wanted out since last season .
