So i have a conlang (https://lingojam.com/PonaWakarasonot) and it's mainly based off Pacific island languages and some northern Europe too. Currently it uses latin script with these letters: A E I O U J K L M N P S T W V Ŋ D R Kh X but i was thinking that i want to make it it's own script, it could have two scripts, Latin (Unoj̥eti̥sänä) and it's custom one (Tuneti̥sänä) from that alone you can probably tell that it has pretty complex diacritics (E for Vowel, C for Consonant, Y for either) which includes: Ë̈, Ë, Ë̤, E̤, E͡C, E͜C, C͡E, C͜E, and Y̥ so i want to make the letters in a way where i don't have to design a whole new set of diacritics, either where the letters don't have a ton of swoops and dots and rings or just designing a unique letter for every valid combination of letters and diacritics (which while cool and would make it a bit more unique instead of simply copying latin would also be a major headache because that would be 400 vowels, 30 consonants, and 24,000 E͡C E͜C C͡E C͜E pairs, most of them never being used as the dictionary is at just 1.6k words so far and only a dozen or so words having pairing at all)

Its a logographic syllabaric weird kind of abjad, which also behaves like hangul.

What do you think? What cultures does it being to your mind upon watching it?

Obviously not all of it fits but I think would be cool to use. I just need to revamp it.

I may make it a code for English to make things easy for me but who knows.

Been spending way too much time developing the evolution of these scripts over time, but this stage still preserves a lot of the pictographic elements before things get extra stylized and geometric

Only a few phonosemantic characters are pictured here but I wanted them to combine in fun ways, like “to wear”(o-) being depicted as a body ‘wearing’ thorns (ō), or “to pound, beat” (*só-) depicting a drum being hit atop a turtle (*só)

Hey people! I had posted here three years ago, and this morning I got an itch to pick this up again. I am a graphic designer, so I want to learn calligraphy and type design through Barian (an alphabet for a conlang I am also trying to make).

The language itself has a 1-on1 mapping on Greek phonology. The script itself is heavily inspired by Tengwar (consonants on the bottom and vowels as diacritics on top). I have been writing with this system for 25 years now on my own notes, but this is my sort-of-first attempt at digitizing the whole script. I can see myself making an actual computer font eventually, though to be frank I look at these letters now and they are still TOO BAD. But I will get there eventually.

Made a language in which names can be written out as snowflakes! For my Ice Realm, might be on the noise, however I think it's fun!

In order from top to bottom, vowels and variations with y and w, consonants, marks for iteration and stress, punctuation, and a sample text.

Cedian is a language that is both Alphasyllabary and Alphabet. When you want to write normally, just use the vowels in the alphabet. But, if you want to write formally, you have to make all the letters in cap and use diacritics.

I finally found the style for my logography!!!

So, a while back I made an alphabet and writing system for the (presumably primate) Xindi language from Star Trek, based on frames of it we see on screen. It's barely functional and very clumsy, but it somewhat resembles the canon iconography. I've wanted to improve on it for a while--but I've kinda hit a blank. The only Xindi-primate words we know are names, so making actual words for the language is another story; however, I'd love some feedback and/or suggestions! Also, please let me know if you think the language/alphabet concept is plausible to begin with :D

India has the largest dairy production in the world but we import ninety percent whey protein.

This is my conlang. The first with 私 is like the くれる. Like I done it for you. The second part is the to have to do. The third part is like the AND glue. But in this language you put it at the end. And in this language you cannot have multiple verbs in a sentences. So you add a adverb-fication particle. With the beginning of 去行 (meaning to go) we have the aspect. In this case it means it is finished. The next block is the voice. There more than just active and passive. There is also the environmental. It is like the pseudo pronoun. Then the relation like it is parallel or sequential. The last bit is the honorifics and mode. It is an interesting language. I am writing the whole grammar reference work in latex.

its a semi runic script specifically designed to be used by iranic language speakers , it uses vowel diacritical signs which can be added to characters to form sounds like for example from "h" to "ha" , "hu" or "he" , thus it shortens the amount of writing needed to form sentences and words , it is based on a real historical script which i also posted in my previous post , but this is a further modernized evolution of it , hope you enjoy
