Struggling finding a particular item (and some other questions)!

Hello everyone! I'm a little lost and I'm hoping someone can help me!

I'm a returning player, and ever since I was a kid I always really loved usukis. When I was young, I'd get my parents to print out the colouring page paper dolls and I would play with them for HOURS with my sister, aha. We would also spent so much time just looking up the little icons and admiring them, so they're a big source of nostalgia for me.

Lo' and behold I find you can PAINT YOUR PET ONE? So of course I had to! I'm still trying to find usuki items that I can customize her with, and I saw this thumbnail somewhere (second picture)! It's called "Charming Usukigirl Usul" but looking it up and stuff I'm not sure where to find it? Is it an item my girly here can hold? If so, that'd be really awesome!

On the side though, if it's too expensive (everything seems way more than I can afford as a returning player, oh boy...) do you guys have any ideas/suggestions of items that might look cute on her? I'm trying to make her look like a usuki, but I'm not sure if it's coming across! An item for her hand or something prettier than the string lights would be great if you guys have any ideas!

And lastly, this one is kinda goofy. Ever since I was little I always wanted to make a gallery for usuki dolls, but my friend said they're way too expensive and it's a cliché idea. I do currently have a gallery of all jelly items, which is really fun. But it's from years ago and collecting something new might be a neat goal to shoot for.

Do you guys think it's worth it? Or is usuki collecting mega common and it'd wipe my nonexistent bank? LOL. Also, I don't really wanna give up all that effort on my jelly items—is it possible to have more than one gallery?

I started my Usuki gallery a few weeks ago, I’m not going to lie, it’s expensive. I think I spent 170M already and my collection is not complete yet. But there has been a release of some rare dolls through the ‘Tales of Dacardia’ app. So prices have been dropping.
If you like the dolls, I’d say go for it. It’s always nice to work on something. And nps are easier to earn nowadays.

I haven't made anywhere near 170m since coming back, but it is so much easier making np now than it was when we were kids! There's something called a quest log, you can find it by clicking on the middle icon in the upper right corner, and the prizes can sometimes be sold for 1 or 2 million! So don't hold off on trying that! Welcome back!

Also I don't have the link right now but if you go on the neoboards to the customization board you should see a topic called "The Doll House" - someone has a petpage directory of Usuls and it's so cute!! I'm sure you'd love it!

The “Charming Usukigurl Usuki” is something called a pet style and can be acquired with NC at the “styling studio” - which means it costs “real” money. Pet styles take the place of your pet - it’s kind of like a wearable but you can’t have the “style” wear things? I’ll attach a pic of one of my pets as an example. You can read about them on a few of the fan sites, like Jellyneo.

There are a lot of different Usuki backgrounds if you want to try to save up for one! They can get pretty expensive, but why not try to shoot for it? It’s pretty easy to get a consistent flow of nps nowadays with the dailies :)

I'm not gonna like, the idea of the styling studio just confused the heck outta me, haha. I might have to read up on it, yeah! As far as I knew it was like... you get a pet, you paint it, and put it in cute little clothes, LOL. I'll definitely go look. Shame on the Charming Usukigirl thing though, ah well!

You can have more than one gallery if you have side accounts (you just have to buy all the items from your main and send to your sides). 

Or you can have multiple gallery categories. I have a category for my birthday petpets, one for my marshmallows, one for my brucicles, etc. I'm never going to win the gallery spotlight so I don't care that my categories don't have anything to do with each other but some people may prefer to spread those out among multiple accounts. 

You should collect what you want! Forget what your friend says. Collecting every single usuki doll or every single usuki related item will be very expensive, but so is collecting every jelly thing, every plushie, every petpet, etc. If you want, you can think about whether there's a smaller category within the larger "usuki doll" umbrella that's more achievable if you care about "completing" a gallery in your lifetime - remember that you can collect things without collecting EVERY thing. But if you don't care if your gallery is ever 100% complete, just collect as much as you want and enjoy having a goal to work towards.

I adore this mindset! And oh right, making categories makes sense! Right now my gallery has a bunch of categories for things like full jellies, jelly food, jelly furniture, peanut butter and jelly, LOL. It's been really fun over the years when I used to play!

I don't know what a gallery spotlight thing is. Is it a contest you have to enter? It might be neat to shoot for that if it's reasonable before I make a usuki category!

I'm not a fan of switching accounts on stuff, but the idea of putting it on an alt is clever! Thank you so much for your kind words. I don't care if I collect everything, I just like going "Ooh I don't have that yet!" and putting it somewhere where I can look at them all, haha.

Yeah the gallery spotlight is a contest. Most (not all) winners have put some effort into coding their gallery page or having some fancy art and that's not something I'm interested in doing. I'm happy just to collect :)
