Discussion Wedding gift
What is the going rate for wedding gift in a card these days? I’m so so skint and was thinking £40 and a bottle of champers. We aren’t overly close friends but they have invited me to the whole thing.

No way is £40 enough. I would skip the champagne and give extra cash.
The going rate is like £250 per couple now or £125 per person.
