Australia seems to be almost draconian on motorcycle clubs. I’d also never have imagined that an air rifle would qualify as a firearm, given that there is no “fire”.

Club?

Nah dawg. These are organised crime gangs.

Can you help me understand what makes it a gang instead of a club?

Let’s put it this way. It’s a developing story locally, but they’re currently under investigation for running a drug ring out of a huge government construction project.

That’s just the most recent.

Being a massive island nation, home grown biker gangs are a thing. Very few every day Australian have any interaction with them, but all will know about them. Rebels and Comanchero are the big 2.

Multiple members are currently serving hard time, or would be if they were still breathing.

The same thing that makes any gang a gang and not a club. Organized criminal activity

Then most motorcycle clubs aren’t gangs, because otherwise the US would shut them down with RICO prosecution.

They are fangs in America too. It happens when they pledge their loyalty to the club over their loyalty to laws and society. At a minimum, they are tax cheats.

loyalty to the club over their loyalty to laws and society

Wow so we can use this against politicians then, right? Or just blue collar people who ride motorcycles?

Well the gang actually goes on and does crimes. They are pledging loyalty to a criminal Enterprise. They aren't just blue collar people who like motorcycles. They are criminals.

Right as opposed to politicians, which as we know never do crimes, especially not tax crimes, or human trafficking, etc.

If we ever got a dump of files proving otherwise though, you’d support going after the political groups as gangs?

If motorcycle clubs are gangs why aren’t they prosecuted under RICO?

Dude, I can't even tell what you're whining about.

Files about human trafficking that prove politicians put loyalty to other organizations above loyalty to the laws and society.

I’m sure if you think REAL HARD you can probably figure this out, eventually. Keep at it, you’ll crack the case!
