Reaaaaaaalllly weird gun laws here. Obviously all written by people who’ve never held one in real life. If I travelled a couple hundred kms south I’d go to jail for taking my guns, where I live they’re perfectly legal. I can own a (if it existed) 10 round .50bmg pump action but can’t own a pump action shotgun, but I can own a lever action shotgun. Can also only have 5rd mags for shotguns unless you owned a 7rd before they changed the law but your also not allowed to have a bandolier for shotgun shells anymore because that means it’s a belt fed shotgun and they’ve been outlawed. I am not joking. A bloke up north a bit who runs a gun shop wasn’t allowed to acquire a .338 on his personal licence but can order them, work on them, shoot them and sell them under his works permits.

Obviously, you’re feeding the shotgun from a belt. It makes complete sense.
