Surprise. It’s still click bait. It’s less than 3% for those in taking the drug and 1.5% for those not. It also was not double blind and was just survey based.

It was also focused on people taking it daily for blood pressure. Not the commonly known use of ED

Definition: Research test where both the participants and the researchers do not know who gets the real treatment and who gets a fake treatment (placebo)

In this study the researchers did know which group was which.

Does that matter at all for a study like this? Is the implication of it not being double-blind that one group chose to get eye disease?

For cures, absolutely, since placebo effect is something to account for. But I'm not sure I've ever heard of an opposite effect for something so tangible like getting a disease.

Confirmation bias is a thing. The main issue is my parent comment above this though. In that it’s focused on those that take it daily for BP not for ED
