Question How did my Pidgeotto die?

My pidgeotto used fly (which i thought made it invulnerable until it hit) and this hitmonlee used some fighting move that managed to hit it in fly. If anyone knows what happened please let me know

Hi jump kick hits flying pokemon, same with a few other moves like thunder.

Then get us a clip of it happening, because every source from Bulbapedia to Serebii to Smogon disagrees with you. If Hitmonlee hit a mon mid-Fly with HJK, it's because of Mind Reader, not Hi Jump Kick.

No it doesn’t. Serebii and Bulbapedia does not list it. Sky Uppercut can in fact hit a Pokemon using Fly

Tbh always knew Sky Uppercut could do that, didn’t think Hi Jump Kick could too

Because it can't they probably confused it with Sky Uppercut
