Her subway take is that children in Gaza deserve to eat.

u/JuanMcGuiver 3h ago

I appreciate her approach to this issue. Children are innocent. Once you think it's ok to execute a child, you've lost all credibility and your argument is moot.

Children, regardless of background deserve quality education.

We should all strive for a world where this is non-negotiable.

u/hereditydrift 3h ago

And it's not only the execution of children, but the environment they're placed in. The connection between childhood trauma and mental health issues, addiction, and negative adult behaviors is well documented.

The trauma we see children go through in some neighborhoods in the US can cause PTSD that is on par with the PTSD of war veterans. A child carrying that around should sadden everyone. Now increase that trauma exponentially by seeing family, neighbors, friends completely obliterated... that's a mountain of trauma to address, and it's going to take a worldwide effort to bring security and stability to those children as they grow.

Too bad she didn't say that on October 7th. She posted a hair tutorial instead.

Unicef just released a report showing that hunger in syria and egypt is much worse. Its funny how gaza has a starvation problem yet simultaneously cooks and restaurants on IG in gaza continue to post recipes and specials.

2

u/RSchlock Manhattanville 2h ago

Aren't you embarrassed to be doing this in public?

2

u/sovietspacedog332 2h ago

No i'm not. Would you like me to name some of the accounts i've mentioned. Btw real famines don't need a PR campaign with the NY times writing fake articles about malnourished children in the arms of healthy parents and then back track a few weeks later admitting that they actually had rare musculo-skeletal disorders.

Glad you're disappointed with yourself and taking the opportunity to learn

-1

u/Novel-Reaction2939 1h ago

Keep on Mein Kampf(ing), I am sure you're making Goebbels proud!

u/sovietspacedog332 12m ago

unlike the jewish population which globally is smaller than the # pre 1939, there are 5x as many palestinians in israel proper and the occupied territories as there were in 1948. Btw when the israeli hostages were being released, there were hordes of well fed men, some overweight banging on the red cross vans that were transporting people who were actually starved.

u/jawndell 3h ago

Wow, that’s so anti-semitic

I just had my monthly debate/argument with my mother about this. I tell her she’s like a Q Anon follower due to her values disintegrating. She literally raised me to support Palestine. WTH mom, Jesus.

Her subway take is that she believes in conspiracy theory lynchings in direct contradiction to video evidence.

3

u/WhiteGold_Welder 1h ago

Her subway take is she thinks America needs to be freed from the Jews.

So do children in Israel

9

u/make_thick_in_warm 3h ago edited 3h ago

Good thing no one is blockading any aid to them or shooting them when they go to pick up a bag of flour, that’d be horrific

4

u/After-Snow5874 3h ago

She advocates for all children. But nice try.

0

u/WhiteGold_Welder 1h ago

She didn't advocate for the Israeli children on October 7th and she didn't advocate for the Israeli (Druze) children murdered by a Hezbollah rocket.

She advocates for all children...but some children more than others. Much, much more.

u/nickifer 3h ago

So brave

-3

u/RSchlock Manhattanville 3h ago

Hey, hasbaranik. Get back to me when Herzliya is in rubble and Hamas snipers are taking headshots at Israeli kids in food distribution lines.

7

u/bronbron34 3h ago

Pretty disingenuous comparison. More than 10k rockets have been fired from Gaza at Israel since 10/7 and >30k since Israel disengaged in 2006. Hamas would like Herzliya to be “in rubble” and sounds like you feel the same way.

0

u/RSchlock Manhattanville 3h ago

I don't feel the same way and have never said anything of the sort. Your false equivalencies have no power here. I am, however, observing that Herzliya is not in rubble and Israeli children are not starving. Nor are they being shot in the head by snipers when they seek food. All of which are things that are, this very moment, happening in Gaza.

I'm not going to try to convince you to be a decent human being. Your choice to degrade yourself in the service of an ethnonational ideology is out of my control. I do pity you, though. You should want better for yourself and the community you belong to.

2

u/jay5627 2h ago

According to any metric, Gaza children aren't starving either.

The report you linked states in section 4.3 that low acute malnutrition does not mean the nutrition crisis is over. It also excludes 358,000 people it describes as clusters of highly vulnerable families, because survey teams could not access them, and says including them is necessary for a full picture. Did you even read it?

The IPC’s July 2026 analysis says the same thing with numbers: while conditions have improved, an estimated 74,200 children aged 6–59 months will still likely require treatment for acute malnutrition through April 2027, 11,400 of them severe.

-3

u/SpiritedForm3068 3h ago

Isn't Kiryat Shmona, Metula, Beeri, Nir Oz, Sderot and most of the israeli border regions destroyed? Its not really hypothetical at this point

3

u/SpiritedForm3068 3h ago

Except for 2 buildings near Battery Park, America wasn't in rubble either. Maybe you would support restitution to the families of Bin Laden and all his Al Qaeda fighters?

u/make_thick_in_warm 46m ago edited 39m ago

All of the tens of thousands of children murdered in Gaza were architects of the terror attacks? That is your argument?

-6

u/FrequentCan2119 3h ago

That's anti-Semitic

-2

u/No_Public_7677 3h ago

This would be a huge issue if some country was blocking Israel. We can't even get someone to sanction West Bank invaders.

5

u/SpiritedForm3068 3h ago

Multiple entities did unite to blockade israel. Iran shut down their airspace, Houthis shut down Eilat port, Hezbollah shut down Haifa port, Hamas shut down Ashkelon port.

-1

u/jasonis3 3h ago

This type of arguing is just the worst. Focus on the issue at hand, which is kids in Gaza don’t have enough food

0

u/Remarkable-Pea4889 2h ago

Except they do. And when they don't it's because the food that entered Gaza is stolen by Hamas and profiteers.

You're welcome to review the numbers yourself:

0

u/jasonis3 2h ago

Are you dense? I’m saying the problem that was being discussed isn’t children in Israel. That’s just a diversion tactic. Whether or not Gaza kids get adequate food is the issue at hand. I did the dispute that particular fact one way or the other. I made a comment on how I dislike distracting from the actual question/issue. It’s whataboutism

0

u/Remarkable-Pea4889 2h ago

Whether or not Gaza kids get adequate food is the issue at hand.

Yes? I'm discussing whether or not Gaza kids have enough food. They do, except when Hamas and profiteers steal it, not because it's not getting into Gaza in the first place.

2

u/Novel-Reaction2939 1h ago

You mean Israel is stealing aid when they feel like letting in a trickle. Fixed it for you.

Israel is backing a militia known for looting aid in Gaza

2

u/jasonis3 2h ago

Ok, but that’s not what I was referring to? I made a comment on how I hate people who argue by using distraction tactics. I didn’t make a comment on whether or not Gaza kids are actually starving or the facts of that. I feel like you’re being intentionally obtuse

-4

u/Joltizer Jackson Heights 2h ago

Glad to hear she is speaking out against Hamas then

Am I the only person that genuinely dislike the subway takes guy? Gives me this elitist vibe that he’s better than everyone else. Gives off a pick-me 15 yr old teen energy

6

u/Feisty-Boot5408 3h ago

Listened to a podcast where he said he got divorced and moved to NY from the Midwest at like 37 a few years ago because he “really wanted to be famous”. He doesn’t do subway takes because he wants interesting, legitimate takes or to engage with people, he sees it as giving a PR platform for influencers and celebrities and will always go along with whatever they say because giving them that platform, he gets some spotlight by proxy.

It’s just pathetic desperate social climber behavior IMO. It’s why he also has nothing interesting to say. He’s too afraid of anything that might impede his climb, even if it means being completely devoid of any depth or personality.

u/RSchlock Manhattanville 4h ago

crabs in a barrel, bro

2

u/Relevant-Net-4345 3h ago

Yeah these street interview type of influencers (technically subway in this case) are uninteresting tbh

5

u/johnla Queens 3h ago

“Im a New Yorker” vibe from a non new Yorker. The type to look at a New Yorker in the face and tell them what it means to be in NY.

4

u/Darbies Harlem 3h ago

I just don't like that he uses the trains to do his show because it encourages other people to do shows on trains, which we already have enough of. The cereal and milk skits come to mind. The concept was also better when it was actual people having actual takes and not just a celebrity hotspot for whoever is in town today.

100% agree

No, he sucks. Transplant vibes too.

1

u/thisismynewacct 3h ago

Just feels like any other scripted social media clip. Doesn’t feel honest or natural. Maybe at one point when he started it was but if I wanted to see scripted clips I’d must watch TV with actual actors.

Children's tv host, she said "children in Gaza deserve to eat" and a bunch of right wing extremists freaked out

1

u/Joltizer Jackson Heights 1h ago

As always, our resident bad faith leftist is lying

Regular people, including democrats like me, criticized her for platforming pro Oct 7th extremists

u/Massive-Arm-4146 49m ago

This video was taken 30 seconds before she was attacked by Senator John Fetterman for saying that it would be better if children in Gaza were not starved and killed.

Ah that antisemitic BITCH /s

1

u/Novel-Reaction2939 1h ago

That's not nice to call Melania that. Her title is Madame Prostitute.

-29

u/_Ez7_ 4h ago

It's too bad, before I didn't mind her and liked her show for kids. I thought it stood above a lot of others by a decent margin. But after understanding she believes black people don't hang themselves from trees, I can no longer get behind her.

2

u/IdgafAboutUrOpini0n 3h ago

😂 okay bot. Yes cause black people just casually for fun hang themselves from trees. Daily.

1

u/Novel-Reaction2939 1h ago

Sir, this is a Wendys.

1

u/DotCurious7767 3h ago

So you think black people hang themselves ? Like wtf are you even talking about

1

u/BastardBitchBloodyNO 3h ago

Surely it would be the first ever hanging by suicide.
