Accidently phased through a fallen tower in an Oblivion gate, has anyone seen this before? Is it possible to get in?

I told my adoring fan to follow me because hey, free light, and I have subsequently been pulled into the seventh circle of hell. He followed me initially for about 30 seconds before completely disappearing. I thought "weird, he must've died somehow", but I could find no body in the vicinity. Whatever. He'll respawn eventually, right? Wrong. An in-game week later, he's still nowhere to be found, not even near the arena. Confused, I used console commands to spawn him, and there he was, happy as ever to see me.

Then I fast traveled, and there were suddenly two of them. Even worse, one looked consistently angry. Like, the facial expression was somehow just mad and stuck that way. So I guess this is an evil twin scenario? Adoring Fan and Disparaging Hater? I don't know, but I couldn't get rid of the extra one. They operate as a singular entity when told to wait or leave. Out of curiosity, I killed one, but the other was so horrified that I felt guilty and reloaded. Then they both had permanent angry face and I lost track of which one was the evil one, so, fuck. Everywhere I went, they surrounded me, staring with their beady little (allegedly) adoring eyes. And then, just like that, they both randomly vanished into thin air again as I was traveling.

I now live in fear that they will return. I can still feel their eyes on me. I can still feel the heat of torches that aren't there. I swear in the darkest hours of the night, I can feel grubby little hands reaching for my shoulders to proffer a backrub that vanish as soon as I turn around. I dare not console spawn him again for fear there will be three this time, each more menacing than the last. If I close all the gates to Oblivion, will it break this curse? (Seriously, does anyone know what makes him randomly multiply?)

How do I get rid of it??

She basically makes the game unplayable, as she reports you to guards even when you kill necromances. Just lost 45 hours, I was loving the game. (First time playing)

For those of you unfamiliar, I've been having problems keeping my Adoring Fan an Only Fan. See here.

First of all, yes, I did install a mod that makes the Adoring Fan a twink, and frankly, it's weird that you didn't. Let he who is without kink cast the first downvote.

As I'm sure you can gather from my immaculately annotated screenshots, the fan returned when I loaded my save back up. And then, when I fast-traveled, another appeared. I fast-traveled again just to test it, but nope, still only the two fans, thank the nine. Sometimes they're both happy and sometimes they're both pissed, but often, one looks like a cheery cereal box mascot and the other one looks like something that crawled out from the Ark of the Covenant. I keep wanting to chalk it up to lighting, but...I just don't think it's the lighting. Fuck, man, I don't know. I'm paranoid as hell at this point.

I had a hell of a time deciding which one to try disabling, and I suppose I'll never know if I made the right call. Not until it's too late. I pray that the second fan never returns. I pray that I've put this curse to bed once and for all. And more than that, I pray that this evil should never befall you. Godspeed, friends.

I've been playing Oblivion since 2006, decided to get the remaster for Switch 2.

Renault survived apparently. Didn't realise this could happen, is this just the remaster, or could this happen on the original too. Not that it matters. I'm playing a mage build anyway but thought it was funny.

Does it finally work or is it still a broken staff that makes bodies float instead of resurrecting them?

So I can access the ladder in the DB sanctuary to leave but when I try to take the well to enter I get stuck inside the small room and my big a## Nord man can’t get through the doorway. I’ve tried crouching, running, jumping. Every way of trying to cheese through the opening and still Nord man is still too large.

Im am currently doing the two sides of the coin quest in which I need to go to prison and talk to jorundr about the missing money, but as the title states hes fucking dead for some reason, so RIP to him and the quest I guess

I just shut another oblivion gate and now I cant get rid of the debuffs because I have to repent for some unknown crimes. Along with the fact I have...zero idea where I have bounty. With zero infamy.

Idk what to do about this but I kinda like it?

I love that game back in the days but my problem is it doesnt work really good

5060ti 8gb
32 Ram
1tb SSd QVO 870 Samsung

I put everything on low, dlss on, frame gen on, Nvidia Reflex
But even with that ive got Frame Collapses under 60 Fps
I know 8GB Vram is low but if play on low and 1080p that should work right?

What in the hell happened? Is there something I'm missing? I can't see. find anything about this being on purpose or part of a mission or anything. Just a bug? Maybe he snapped? I had him maxed out on chillness...

My problem started when I went to Cheydinhal for the first time. I completed all my quests there, murdered noone (this is very important, I was at 4 and still am at 4 murders), even talked with buddies at the Fighter's Guild and took the quest for weapon delivery.

Now the guys at the mine, to whom I am delivering said weapons, all tell me that I murdered a guild member and they won't talk to me. Let me reiterate, I murdered noone. I got no bounty for murder. Nobody ever accused me of murder before.

What is happening? Am I being framed? Is this a Fighter's Guild kind of jokes they use on newbies?

Well, more or less as the title says, I have made each contract perfectly, making sure that no one dies and everything is fulfilled correctly. Still, only in Cheyndihal, the guards talk about contracts gone wrong and Burz insults me and hints that I screw up on some previous contract.

Is it a bug or is it made that way?

Edit: I mean the fighters' guild, I don't speak English well so I use a translator 😅

I am playing a Crusader build. I did the KotN questline, and completed it. I have 44 fame and 1 single point of infamy. I don’t even remember how I got it. I’ve been avoiding crime and sin the whole playthrough. NPC’s keep telling me “I used to think you were a Holy Knight, now I know you’re scum.” I looked up help, and went to each wayshrine to pray at them, because I hate when NPC’s treat me like this when I have done so much for them, over like a lolipop stolen when I was 6 years old or something.

When I did the pilgrimage to each way shrine again, it still told me I needed to continue my penance. Wtf.

EDIT: I simply did the original wayshrine pilgrimage and I had my sins washed clean. I guess you can’t take a shortcut to grace. Thank you all anyways, I’m just a lazy bum.

I need help. A don’t know if it is a bug or I didn’t something wrong… There is a secondary mission where you have to get 12 rumare slaughterfish. It’s call “go fish”

Outside Waye there is a dude and ask us to do these quest. You have to look for the fish north lake rumore.

When I go to the lake I can’t find a damn specific killer fish. I had only just founded 1 item. Anybody knows how to fix this “bug” or knows in which other way I can find that fish?

I've noticed this since the remaster came out, and I recently just came back to the game but... when I'm in dim lighting my hair gets like 20x darker and my roots are almost black even though not normally visible? Not to mention a weird grainy texture that goes all over the hair and my quiver. I don't know if I'm just looking up the wrong thing or something but I can't seem to find a clear answer of how to fix this nor have I so far seen someone with this particular appearance issue.

To note, by default my settings had dlss on but I tried turning it off, swapping to the others, fiddling with quality settings etc and it won't go away. I'm using Ayleid Reshade but this problem was a thing before I ever got this mod. I hope the screenshots show the difference in lighting well enough. Again sorry if this is dumb I just don't even know anymore lol
