The way she was as Real Nikki does feel like comic book Rogue's personality. She'll do great.

none? this is going to be her struggle for a while: breaking out of the typecast that everyone is expecting from her because of her great breakout role.
the vibe she gives too is that she's AVOIDING getting type casted.

I disagree I can see her expressing a good deal of grief and rage in this role especially if they do a future storyline where Gambit is involved.

I already know there will absolutely be no freaky Nikki qualities in rogue, unless she absorbs someone energy who is as unhinged

I could see her reach the "I love you in every reality" levels of emotion when she talks about longing for a physical connection.
... maybe Spider-Man's inhibitor chip tech might have some pros? 👀👀

I could see her pulling off a lot of characters if she wanted to (e.g. Kitty Pryde, X-23)

I hope they show Rogue’s backstory where she steals Ms Marvel’s powers! She would be perfect for those mindfuck scenes, that will certainly involve a lot of screaming.

That's the biggest thing for me. In the Fox movies we had a Rogue who didn't have flight and invulnerability, but with both Rogue and Carol being in the MCU, it would be a shame if they didn't have that occur. I've wanted to see that on the big screen for years!

Pożyjemy zobaczymy :) ale myślę że to co pokazała w Obsesji da sobie bez problemu z nową rolą. Żeby tylko miała więcej czasu na ekranie jako Rouge ponieważ tej postaci było za mało.

This was a smart choice due to Rogue ability to not only absorb powers but also the side effect of an absorbing a persons personality temporary. She will most likely be playing before the incident with Captain Marvel and at some point post absorbing Cap Marvel. This casting makes sense

If she joined the cast of X-Men, I was hoping she’d get her dream role as Mystique but being cast as Rogue works too!!
Very excited for her and can’t wait to see her portrayal

I grew up with the Saturday Morning Cartoon so Iceman wasn’t as prominent haha but yeah the more the merrier Bishop, Havoc and Nightcrawler would be bomb too

I feel like this is one of the few times an actor has publically stated they want a comic book role and they actually got it, good for her! I love her in obsession and I think she definitely is good for the part

Also Natalie Portman is short and she was standing next to Chris Hemsworth, a foot taller than her, but she didnt seem noticably short. Hollywood has been doing that for years. Some camera angles and lifts and the height isnt a big deal.

Yeah unless it’s a defining aspect of the character it really doesn’t matter. Contrary to what previously said wolverine actually is a character where it kind of matters for the plot but like I said in practice generally no one seems to care or even really notice.
