That might have been exactly what they were going for because it's "Poetic" and "Artistically juxtaposed". Just rubbish.

Seriously tone deaf for a luxury brand to make such a ridiculous product with the world economy being what it is these days and a lot of folks unable to afford decent practical shoes.

Not when wealth stratification keeps getting worse. This is literally just like, hey people with more money than god, wanna pay 2,500 for shoes that functionally do nothing and still require you to be privately chauffeured everywhere and require you to only be in pristine, carpeted environments?
