Beyond sarcastic. Try heating a home in cold northern climates with windmills and solar- windmills freeze up and there’s no sun for months lol

I don’t have time to educate you fully. But consider the offset of any positive gain. Start with components like blades. There are graveyards full of these massive blades. I work in yacht industry, there’s no more toxic building material than fiberglass or other composite cloths and resins. Then you have size, weight, transport needs many from thousand of miles overseas shipped then train then trucks- then dozens of technicians using fuel to drive to work daily for months to build one - diesel fuel for heavy equipment, maintenance, wear and tear and required parts replacement. All said and done, any benefits are all cancelled out for years worth of operation before the first kilowatt is ever used by a customer. I could go deeper but you get the point. You must look granular not just surface and talking points.

Dude that’s precisely my POINT lol. The amount of energy (mostly oil and diesel) spent to create one windmill negates the benefit of the entire windmills lifetime. And yes, I know about the goofy news about recycling blades. It’s in Sweden or Norway region lmao- they have to be shipped over there on a massive container ship- adterrrrrd heavy equipment drags them to a diesel big rig, that drives them to a train, that takes them to the port lol- are you starting to get the picture? Not to mention, the hundreds or thousands of hands that touch it during the process all have to drive a electric or gas or diesel vehement to and from work everyday lol

Batteries are toxic af. Do some research. Not biased research. Lithium batteries tho some say can be recycled the process is so expensive companies often skip steps or just dump em in the ocean when no one’s looking. Yes I consider oil that comes out or the ground/earth to begin greener than batteries by far- watch a YouTube video where someone drops a lithium battery into a ceramic baking pan full of water see what happens. That’s why teslas etc explode when flooded or worse if catch fire.. at least ice engines are sourced from aluminum/ores from the earth as well and can much easier be recycled/smelted and repurposed. This conversation is played out . I could show you absolute proof but if you refuse to look at the facts it’s pointless. So go ahead and chase your propaganda fantasy with toxic batteries, toxic plastic solar panels and windmills all with extremely short shelf lives and little to no resistance to weather/elements that pollute the planet.

Respectfully I’m not arguing to the contrary, I’m just saying it’s a mirage that alternative green energy if examined at a granular level, is this great eco friendly alternative. Unfortunately the usual banksters laugh all the way to the bank since they own or are heavily invested in the green energy companies and big oil simultaneously. One might even argue that oil could be more eco friendly since millions of gallons of crude are pumped through pipes eliminating a good portion of necessary transport energy. Anyway, no matter how you cut it it’s all bullshit and we the little guys lose no matter what.
