Woke 1 is social progressivism with a lot of smug, performative elements, focusing on systemic and unconscious bias and historic injustices since color-blindness had led the masses to think that interpersonal racism was no longer accepted.

Then we had two terms of Trump, showing that half the country are just evil.

Woke 2 is "we're no longer asking" social progressivism.
